Bibo+ 2.0 and the future of every other Bibo+ mod in existence.
🕑 Added 2022-02-16 22:08:11 +0000 UTCHi all, i'm not sure if everyone else saw or heard about it but Illy came out with auto assign version for Bibo+. I'll just copy and paste it here for those that follow her:
Find the update here:https://www.deviantart.com/illyxiv/art/Bibo-FFXIV-Body-Replacement-903974512
This is a required update and makes and adjustment to the body which will prevent other bodies from breaking B+ or having compatibility issues with it. We have fully moved off the _B / _C material in textools and now have a custom texture that cannot be overwritten.
We have moved textures to _bibo & _bibopube and all mods moving forward will be created using this material.
Due to this change I will be making all of my mods moving forward on the _bibo and _bibopube material.
Please make sure to have the newest B+ update, Textools 2.3.7.4 Update or higher.
To update all of my old mods:
Open Textools -> Tools Menu -> Auto-Assign Skin Materials.
This will automatically update all old mods that you have installed onto the new material and requires no added adjustments from users.
TL;DR: This new body uses a new texture name and now TT will auto assign future bibo+ mods to these if it can. You can check out more of it on her deviant art page. As for me, i will just be using that as well for simplicities sake. Meaning if you''re a bibo+ user but install Gen 3 stuff, you wont have to manually swap the textures around for any bibo+ mods using this update. On a side note though, i wont go back and update my old mods to this new format except maybe the patreon exclusives. That's all for now!
