Chapter 3
I jumped over another alley as I made my way towards the meeting point.
The last five days have been pretty good. My arm finally healed; I paid my rent, not that I have to worry about money after looting that money stash. I also got a few new things for my apartment, even if I'm planning on moving soon, I have the money to spend so I decided to buy a few nice things. A large TV, a new couch and a $20,000 PC, which is enough for my own use, I will probably have to buy one of those crazy high tech ones once I buy a hacker companion on the game store, or maybe a full on supercomputer.
I also went into Hell's Kitchen for the first time since I got in this world. I had to spend a few hours looking around before I found Daredevil, but I did manage to find him some time after 1AM. I told him that I was ready to hit that warehouse and that I was bringing one more person, gave him the same time and place to meet that I had given Jessica, and then spent a couple of hours beating up gangsters with him. It was a fun time.
There was a lot going on in the city in these last few days. Spidey showed up for the first time, in that awful hoodie and goggles getup. He had only showed up once, three days ago, and then disappeared; I think he is busy making a new suit. The FF also had another run in with Doom, which left the Baxter Building damaged again. I'm definitely happy that I was in the other side of the city at that time; Doom scares me more than pretty much anyone in the planet right now, and I don't want to be anywhere near that guy for a long time. The Hulk also showed up again. Ross spent a few tens of millions of tax money to try and fail to capture him; the Hulk destroyed a few tanks, probably killed a few soldiers as well, but I'm pretty sure most of the civilian casualties came from the military, rather than the big guy.
But the big one happened upstate. Juggernaut somehow got out of prison, and then immediately made his way towards the Xavier Institute. Of course, there was a big cover up of the fight, so no one really knows what happened there, but there is always something that slips past both Xavier and his government allies. There was a video going around the deep web of Juggernaut rampaging through North Salem, as well as the response from the Institute. Most people were saying that the video was edited, saying that if something like that had really happened it would be all over the news, but I knew better, and I could clearly see the Institute staff and Xavier little child soldiers fighting the Juggernaut. Sure, both Jean and Scott should be turning eighteen in the next few months, but right now they are still seventeen, they should be still in training, not fighting against someone as dangerous as Cain Marko. I always hated Cyclops, always thought that he was a massive douche in the movies, and in the comics he was even worse; but I still don't think the guys should be fighting the Juggernaut right now, with so little training. And that's not even mentioning the fact that both Iceman and Shadowcat were also in that fight, and from what I saw in their social media accounts, both Kitty Pryde and Bobby Drake have just recently turned sixteen. If Scott and Jean shouldn't be in that fight, Kitty and Bobby shouldn't even be in the same city that the fight was happening in. But of course his royal baldness allowed the two of them to join the fight.
I never really liked Xavier. He tries to portray himself as the Martin Luther King Jr. of mutants, but he has some pretty questionable morals, including a propensity to mess with little girls minds. Most of what happens to Jean during the whole phoenix debacle is due to that block he puts on her mind. No matter how much you understand of psychology, putting blocks in a teenager's mind will always interfere with their emotions and affect their personality. I checked to see if this was how the phoenix saga will go down, and I'm convinced that it is. There was no space shuttle crashing down near Jamaica, but I did find an old newspaper mentioning Jean's name involved in a car accident which left her in a coma when she was younger. So yeah; Xavier is a hypocrite and I don't like him.
There was also another big news, or at least, big for the people that knows what it means. Doctor Strange has showed up again after a two years, he had disappeared since a couple of months after his accident. So he is definitely a sorcerer already, can't say if he is the sorcerer supreme, since I don't know anything about magic in this world. Hell, I don't even know if the Ancient One in the bald woman from the movies, or the old Asian dude from the comics. I need to find some way to gather information on the magical community, there are too many magical enemies that could kill me in the blink of an eye for me to feel safe not knowing anything about them. For all I know Mordo followed Strange home, and is about to start causing problems in New York. I could be attacked by Nightmare in my sleep, or Dormammu could be about to launch an invasion of earth. So I definitely need someone to pass me information from the magical community, maybe I could get Jaina Proudmoore, Fleur Delacour or Tonks from the game store. Just for their magic, it is definitely not because I'm hoping to seduce two beautiful blondes and a girl that can change her looks; I just want them because they can infiltrate the magical community.
I had also made a few changes to myself. I used all the 25 credits that I had and bought the knowledge of a karate black belt from the game store. It was weird how the system just shoved the knowledge into my brain, and it was even weirder how I could feel my body gaining years of experience and muscle memory, but I couldn't say it wasn't effective. I tested it just yesterday and I instinctually knew how to fight like my old karate master from my previous life. So now I was an actual black belt, instead of the yellow belt knowledge I had from my previous life, it made me a vastly more effective hand to hand fighter, but I think I made a mistake. I should have bought a different style of fighting, sure, I can make use of my superior speed with karate, I'm way faster than a normal human due to my serum. But there is an even bigger gap in strength between me and a baseline human; I should have bought knowledge of a fighting style that makes use of that superior strength, like Krav Maga or Sambo. Maybe that could be my next purchase, but I really should start saving for a healer or a healing power.
I jump to the next rooftop and roll as I touch the ground, when I look around the rooftop that I selected for the meeting I see Jessica already there waiting for me looking at me with a smirk. Today she is dressed in yoga pants and a hoodie, and it seems that she took my advice because she also has a mask covering the top half of her face. I dust myself off and walk towards her.
"Hey, girl who I still don't know the name." I say as I approach her, making her grin widen.
"I don't have a name for when I'm doing this. And I'm not telling you my real name." She responds, and I laugh.
"Fair enough." I say still laughing a little. "How about Jewel, or Knightress." I suggest. Those are some of the names she used in the comics, and I'm definitely not suggesting Power Woman, since that one has connections to Luke Cage, and as far as I know she doesn't even know the guy in this world, much less being married to him.
"Hmm… maybe I will go with Jewel, I do like them after all." She says in a contemplative tone. "So, how are we doing this?" She asks, after a few seconds of silence.
"We are still waiting for another guy. He is a little more experienced than both of us, so he should be a major help." I responded, making her frown so much that I can see it even with her mask.
"You never said anything about someone else." She said in an accusing tone.
"I thought it was implied. The two of us alone would never be able to take on something this big." I explain myself, and she nods in agreement after a few seconds.
"So, this girl is the one you invited?" I hear a male voice ask from behind me. Turning around I saw Daredevil walking closer to me, coming from the same side of the roof that I had, which shouldn't be possible since the entrance is on my right, and the guy certainly can't jump between buildings like I can.
"Hey devil, good to see you could make it today. And yes, she is. We took down one of the Kingpin's money stashes just five days ago. She knows what she is doing." I responded, lying a little at the end; Jessica definitely doesn't know what she is doing, she hardly started doing this hero thing; she's as green as leaves in the summer, but he doesn't need to know that.
"Fair enough." He responded, walking forward and extending his hand towards Jessica. "I'm Daredevil, when I'm wearing the suit."
"Jewel." Jessica responded in a curt but not disrespectful tone. I'm guessing she decided to go with that name then.
"What do you have for us, Guardian?" Matt asks, turning towards me again, and I'm still amazed at how a blind guy can know exactly where I am, fucking blind guy sonar.
"Right." I say, busting out my presentation voice that I used in my school days, and I hear Jessica snort, probably realizing what I'm doing. "Our target is the warehouse three streets down from here. I scouted the place these last few days and proved my information was legit. There were trucks moving in and out of the warehouse, and armed guys scouting the perimeter, this one is definitely one of the Kingpin's major hubs. While I was scouting the place I took some time to learn the patrol routes and when they change the guard, and there should be a change happening an hour and a half from now. That is our time to strike." I say, making Jessica nod, while Matt stroke his chin in thought.
"How many guards were there?" Daredevil asks.
"I saw thirty guys armed with submachine guns coming in, but there were only ten patrolling the outside. So, we are dealing with ten outside and twenty inside. The patrol focuses mostly on the north side of the building, where there is a large bay for trucks to unload, so our point of entrance is in the south, there should be only one guard there." I responded, giving them a little more information, and making Matt nod in agreement with my plan.
"I managed to get some pics from the inside while one of the doors was open." I say, taking the pictures I had with me and passing them to both of my teammates for the night. "The place seems well lit, but there are plenty of pillars that cast some nice shadows, as well as some blind spots. I didn't see any cameras, but we can't count on them not having any. I wasn't able to get a comms blackout going, so we hit them hard and fast, not giving them time to call reinforcements." I added while they looked at the pictures.
"You think you can get on the roof?" Daredevil asked, making me pause for a moment. It might be possible, I could hide on top of one of the trucks. From there it would be easy to get on the roof undetected.
"It might be possible, but not from the outside. We would need to improvise a way to stop one of the trucks for me to hide on top off." I responded.
"We could use one of the traffic lights, and I could buy you a few more seconds by playing the same trick on the trucker that I did on those guards." Jessica said, making me stop to think, while she explained to Daredevil what the trick was. Again, it should be possible, it isn't unheard of for working girls to be approaching truckers, instead of the other way around, but I would have to be fast, and count with quite a bit of luck for the trucker to not hear me digging my hands into the metal of the truck, it would be the only way I would be able to hold on while we moved.
"I'm willing to try it. What do you guys think?" I asked, and received nods from both Matt and Jessica. "Then we do it. We should move closer so we can do a little bit of last minute scouting while sorting out any more details." I added, and the three of us started to move towards the warehouse, we had a job to do.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stood on top of the roof while I waited for the signal. Daredevil and Jewel should be coming through the south of the warehouse in just a few seconds. I would then drop into the building and start taking out the guys on the top floor, to prevent them from having a clear line to shoot at Jessica and Matt. There were enough crates of drugs and weapons on the floor that my two allies would be able to hide quite easily from others on the ground, but the guys on top of them would have clear view. It was my job to protect them while they take the fight to the guys on the floor.
Jessica's plan whent quite well and I was able to sneak inside the guard perimeter, they never checked the top of the truck, and the trucker didn't even realize that I was there. And again I questioned the intelligence of the Kingpin, the guy could be really smart in some areas and then commit rookie mistakes in others, it was almost enough for me to start thinking that this world ran on comic book logic and the heroes always win. That was one of the reasons why I chose hero instead of villain, so I was happy to be proven right.
Hearing the signal, which was the hoot, hoot of an owl, I dropped from the skylight, right on top of the guard walking below it, knocking him out instantly. Crouching, I walked around, being really careful since I didn't want to be seen and give the attack away yet. I made my way towards the south of the building, using the railing as cover so as to not be seen by the guards on the other side of the building. Turning a corner I saw a guard walking with his back turned towards me; I looked over the railing to see if any guards were looking towards this spot, and that none of them were I made my way closer to the gangster in front of me. He didn't hear anything until I was right behind him, when he turned around I hit him square in the jaw with an uppercut, knocking him out immediately and preventing him from sounding the alarm.
Looting his gun, I continued to make my way towards the south of the building, and almost was seen as the next guard on the walkway was coming towards my position instead of away. I quickly hid in the only corner that led further into the warehouse and waited for him to come closer, I looked over the railing again and saw that someone was looking towards our general area; I had to hope the guy would turn around or was focused on something else. Even worse was the fact that there was another guard in the corridor I was hiding in, thankfully he was with his back towards me, but this one would be a close call. When the guy on the walkway closed in on my position and I saw his foot step into the corner I went up with another uppercut, again knocking him out immediately.
Also looting his gun; I dragged his unconscious body away from the corner and then I knocked three times on the ground of the walkway, the metal floor making somewhat loud gongs, it was the signal to tell Matt and Jessica that this side of the walkway was clear. Turning around I stood on the corner, hugging the wall and using the pillar in front of me to cover the view from the other side. I could hear the guard from the corridor coming towards my position, probably to check on the noise I made on the floor. When he reached the corner I grabbed his gun with my right hand and hit him in the windpipe with my left; he went down, struggling to breathe and I finished him off with a rear naked choke.
Looting the gun and hoping to not have killed the last guy, I started to make my way towards the other side of the warehouse. Crouching again, I risked another look over the railing and saw Jessica drop a guy with a kick to the head. Continuing to make my way towards the north of the building, I wait a little before turning around the corner and continuing, the reason I waited is shown as I take just a few steps into the north side of the walkway and am already right behind another guard, looking over the railing again I see the clear view that every side of the warehouse has of this spot. Realizing that the moment for caution is over I step loudly into the ground to give Jewel and Daredevil a second of advantage and then swipe the legs of the guy in front of me, he goes down trying to point his gun at me and I finish him off with a hit to the head.
I can hear the sounds of fighting down on the ground floor, and I know the guards from the other side of the walkway are making their way towards me, risking another look over the railing I see that the three guards are getting closer together, and my military training from my previous life makes me realize that they are trying to stack before turning the corner and firing at me, pretty professional for gangsters, and it would give them an advantage in a fire fight, but in this situation the advantage it gives me is even better since they will be in melee distance from one another. I start almost running on four legs, still crouched to prevent the guards from shoot me from the other side; I get to the corner first due to my serum enhanced speed.
I don't have to wait for long as they show up just a second after I reach the corner. I hit the guy on the front right in the solar plexus, knocking the wind out of him, but I don't let him go down, grabbing him and using his body as a shield against the other two. I throw him towards the second gangster, while making sure to throw his gun behind me, and hit the third with a superman punch, knocking him out instantly. I then hear a gunshot and feel a pain on my right leg, the second guy managed to disentangle himself from his still gasping friend and shoot me in the leg. I thank ROB that his gun wasn't on auto and hit him with a kick to the head before he can shoot me again. I then finish the first guy off with a rear naked choke.
I check my leg to see how much the bullet messed it up, and feel relieved when I see that it just grazed my. Looking over the railing I see Daredevil and Jewel have already finished their fight and now are hiding behind pillars, looking directly below me I see why they are hiding, the guards from outside must have heard the fighting and now they are walking inside the warehouse, guns ready to fire. I decide to create a distraction and jump over the railing, falling right on top of one of the gangsters. I hear the crack of his bones, but I'm focused on the fighting, the moment of distraction and surprise the other guards have as they look at me is enough for Matt and Jessica to close the distance and bring the fight to them. The fighting is quick and brutal, there were eight of them against the three of us. I quickly take another one down with a kick to the head, and as I move towards another one, I hear two gunshots; not feeling anything hit me, I don't stop to see if they hit my allies, I just keep moving towards the next enemy, the guy manages to defend against my front kick, using his gun as a shield, which causes it to accidentally fire but thankfully it was pointed towards the floor. He didn't manage to defend against the next kick that I aimed towards his knee, I hear it break and he goes down, I then finish him off with a kick to the head.
Looking around I see that the rest of the fighting is done. Jessica looks fine, if a little disheveled. Her eyes are shining and she seems to be almost vibrating due to the adrenaline. Daredevil, on the other hand, is bleeding from his shoulder, it seems one of those gunshots hit him, but that is the only injury he has.
"We should move fast, reinforcements might come in a few minutes. Jewel and I will gather the workers, while you do your thing with the crates." He said 'looking' me in the eyes.
I nod, and while the two of them start to gather the workers outside; I open my system, go to the game store and just start moving through the warehouse, touching crates full of drugs and weapons and selling them to the game.
It only takes me a couple of minutes to cover the entire floor of the warehouse, but that was enough for me, I wasn't going to try to loot everything this time, reinforcements should be arriving soon, and I definitely don't want to be around when that happens. Going outside and see Daredevil and Jewel looking over the gathered workers, there are a couple of pistols on the floor near them, so I'm guessing that some of the workers might have tried to resist. I move closer to them and say.
"The ground floor is clear, that's all I'll be able to do before the reinforcements get here, we should leave now." I receive nods from both of them, and I crouch down, selling the three pistols on the floor to the game store. We then turn around and start running, once we are out of sight of the workers I stop the two of them and pull my portkey.
"This will transport us to a safe house of mine, a couple of blocks from here."
I don't really care about them knowing about my portkey, it can't be replicated by anyone in this universe. And I also don't care about my current apartment; I will be looking for a new, larger place tomorrow. I will still keep renting my current place, it makes for a nice safe house, but I need something bigger if I'm going to start gathering people to make my own team.
"Which direction is it?" Daredevil asked.
"South west." I responded.
"You two take it; I will be leading them in a different direction. It was nice teaming up, maybe we can do it again to hit another large target." He says, and then starts running again. Jessica just shrugs her shoulders and asks me.
"So, how does this thing works?"
"You just have to grab it, just make sure to keep holding it, the transportation can be a little uncomfortable." I responded, and when she grabbed the other side of the rope portkey I said. "Activate." and the portkey takes us away.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I pay the pizza delivery guy, giving him a nice tip. Jessica is currently in my shower, cleaning herself from the dirt of the fighting. She decided to crash at my place since the streets are filled with gangsters looking for us. I already took a shower earlier, and now am just laying around in my couch, in sweatpants and watching tv.
I sit on the couch again, put the pizza down on the nearby coffee table, take a slice and them open my system interface to see how much I gained tonight. Quickly going into my paycheck tab I see a whopping $4,321,486, and almost choke on my pizza. How the fuck is the ROB going to explain that one; I'm listed as a financial advisor and stockbroker 'working' at ROB Inc, and I know those guys make crazy high bonuses, but this one seems a little bit ridiculous and I'm definitely going to end up with the IRS on my ass.
"Careful with that. After getting shot tonight, it would be sad if you died choking on a pizza." I hear Jessica say from the door to my bathroom.
Her hair is still wet from the shower, and she is dressed in the clothes I gave her for the night, one of my old shirts and my Boston Celtics basketball shorts. Yes, I live in NY and am a Celtics fan, I'm a heretic and should be shot, again.
"Yeah, none of those things are going to kill me." I responded, looking at my leg. I cleaned and dressed the injury, so I'm good for now. "I will probably die of high cholesterol or something." I added, tipping my pizza slice towards her, as if toasting.
"Fair enough." She says with a grin, taking a seat alongside me on the couch and grabbing a slice of pizza for herself. "Now that we both have seen each other without the mask on, I think we are ready for names, right? I'm Jessica Campbell." She says, taking a bite of her pizza after.
"Isaiah Jones." I responded. I think about how right I was. Jessica Campbell, not Jones. She definitely didn't get adopted in this world; her parents probably died when she was already an adult.
"Well, I don't know about you, Mr. Jones, but I'm ready to celebrate being alive. So bring out that shitty vodka I saw in your kitchen and pour us some shots." She says, and I laugh.
"Right away, Ms. Campbell." I respond in my most posh butler voice, making her laugh.
I open the game interface again while I'm going towards my kitchen, thanking the ROB for the fact that I'm the only one capable of seeing the glowing words floating in front of me, and click to finish the quest the game had given me for the warehouse, receiving 30 credits in total. I close the interface, grab the vodka and a couple of shot glasses, and return to the couch, pouring a shot for both of us, committing another crime this night beyond vigilantism, due to the US ridiculous twenty one years old drinking age, it might even be a double count, since I'm pretty sure Jessica is twenty like me.
We stay drinking, eating pizza and watching tv until around 3AM, when Jessica turns towards me, a little tipsy but definitely not drunk, and says in a flirty tone.
"I'm sure I can help you." I say, trying to hide how I'm really feeling. I'm about to get laid with a marvel heroine.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I suck her nipple lightly as she shudders in pleasure. She is lying on my bed; our clothes were thrown all over my bedroom, her still wet hair is sticking on her face, she looks beautiful.
I abandon her tits and start kissing my way down her tight stomach until I reach her heated mound, placing a kiss directly on it.
"Yes!" Jessica moans passionately when I plunge my tongue into her core.
Her legs wrap around my head, trapping me in place. Reaching up with my right hand I massage her soft breast while my tongue moves between her lips. Jessica arches her back, gasping in pleasure as I tease her clit. Her legs trembling as they clamp down on my head, her fingers moving through my hair as a needy moan escapes her lips.
I continue to attack her clit with my tongue, her grip on my hair tightening as a scream leaves her throat and she arches her back even more. Her grip on my hair is a little painful but I ignore it, continuing to pleasure her all through her climax until her body goes limp.
When her legs relax and she finally releases my head I start kissing my way up to her lips, when our lips touch she kisses me passionately, tasting herself on my lips. After a few minutes make out section she slips out from under me, rolling over until she is on top. Giving me a smirk and licking her lips she grabs my cock and says.
"Nice and big. Just the way I like it."
She licks my shaft for a little bit, before straddling my waist again; she then starts sliding her slit along my almost painfully hard shaft. She rolls her hips, sliding her wet lips up and down my length. Lifting herself up, Jessica aims my swollen cock at her tight, wet entrance. She pushes down, and my girth stretches her lips as I enter her for the first time. Both of us moan as my cock sinks into her. She then presses her hands firmly against my pecs and starts riding me, fast and hard.
Closing her eyes, a moan escapes her lips as her nails scratch my chest. I start caressing her body, playing with her nipples. She moans and starts riding me even faster, and I hear my bed creaking under the strain of a super powered fuck.
The feeling of her tight, hot folds enveloping me quickly pushes me towards my climax. Grabbing her hips I start thrusting up in time with her movements, the sound of skin slapping on skin filling my bedroom.
"That's it, fuck me harder." She panted. And I'm more than happy to oblige.
I tighten my grip on her hips and start pulling her down in time with my thrusts. She throws her head back and moans loudly as I pound into her at a rapid pace, my bed creaking even more.
I continue to slam my hips upwards, her own hips barely moving as our flesh slaps together with wet sounds. Her nails suddenly dig into my skin and her pussy tightens around my length. A long shriek leaving her mouth as her body shakes with her climax.
Feeling my own release coming, I continue to pound upwards, hard and fast. The sound of wet slaps filling the room as she leaks all over my hips. I bury myself deeply into her and moan as I reach my on climax, depositing my cum inside her.
She collapses on my chest, her body going limp. We stay a few minutes recovering, our sweat soaked bodies glistening on the low light of my bedroom, and when rolls over, the bed finally gives out and collapses. I look at her and when it becomes clear that none of us are injured, we both start laughing.
"It is good that at least the mattress survived, because I still want more." She says after getting her laugh into control, and I grin in response. This one is going to be a long night.
AN 2: Let the smut begins. I'm pretty happy with this one, feels like it is my best one yet.
Next chapter we might have the first villain fight.
I will see you guys in the next one.
