I couldn't identify more with this, particularly the blurb you added for context. There is this feeling we, particularly big dudes, feel about having our value be based on what we can do for the people we love. I can't stress enough how difficult it is to feel worthy of this kind of affection, but when we are told to sit there and accept the attention, it touches us on the deepest level. Your art speaks to me, thank you.
