Would you recommend starting out with the Medals Expansion for 7 Wonders Architect? Typically I would wait until I really like a game to consider getting any expansions but based on a few things you've said about the game I was wondering if I should make an exception. Thanks!

I ended up replacing Colt Express with the card game Colt Super Express. It's more fun, easier to teach, in a tiny box, and delivers a similar chaotic experience, albeit in 2D.
