I co-wrote a book.

Today I want to share something special - I co-wrote a book ๐A few months ago Iโve received a messaged from someone who wanted me to take part in a awesome project. The project would consist of many well known painters creating tutorials about speed painting models in under 60 minutes. I thought - why not, letโs give it a go! Long story short - the books are now complete and they are on Kickstarter (spoiler alert - thereโs only 30 hours left to pledge).
In this tutorial, Iโve painted a Tyranid Neurogaunt in 51 minutes. Iโve also documented every step in that time.
The goal was to create a easy to replicate paint scheme that would also be cool. I chose to mimic the Alien color scheme. Yes, the legendary black-grey scheme from the classic Alien movies. I hope it is easy to spot.
If you would like to buy this book, Iโm in volume 2 with many other amazing painters who have also created tutorials for it. Here is the link:
If you use this link, I will get a small kick back from the organizer of the Kickstarter. Other than than - I did it for free, just because itโs a cool initiative.
Thank you for reading!
All the best to you all,
Mamikon

That sounds awesome! There are at least 5/6 tutorials on Tyranids on my Patreon so I hope you will enjoy ๐

I just primed all my nids from leviathan box earlier today. Still not totally sure what Iโm going with on the overall color scheme, so this is extra fuel for my ideas.
