DEVLOG - November
🕑 Added 2020-11-03 07:01:00 +0000 UTCWe've got news on Update 2.2 and what's coming in this release!
Major updates
This time, I worked on fixing the problems that were received from your feedback! But that doesn't mean there won't be anything new in 2.2.
Of course, we meet a new character in our game - Chris!
And now, in detail about all the updates!
Story
- This time I decided to open 3 line of events. You will find out what this branch is =). I hope you enjoy this branch, as I think it is the most correct (but this is just my opinion)
This line of development is quite difficult. It will not be easy to complete it ideally, as many conditions will be concentrated.
- There will be no development of Daniel and Connor branches in 2.2.
- Connor's branch on day 3 was completely finished. She remained unchanged.
Mechanics
- Language error in textboxes, time, infoboxes, etc. has been fixed. Now, when choosing a language, there should be no more problems with "untranslated" strings!
- A new type of points has been introduced. Its name is "Friendly Neighbor" or the working title is the Points of Friendliness.
- Haunt's map has been fixed. The English version had a bug in the tooltip.
- Mary's tidying minigame time has been increased from 5 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Mary's cleaning minigame has been updated and the images have been replaced.
UI
- Work on the interface has been done. Updated his color palette.
- The "Back" menu button has been introduced. It works only in some scenes, you can see it in the lower right corner (at the moment, it may be moved).
This button returns you to the main Haunt map, depending on the day (now only from 3)
CG / BG / Sprites
- Updated Mary's shop background.
- Updated the background of Mike and Mary's house
- Fixed some CGs.
- Work in progress on scenes for branch 3.
Fixed problems!
- Fixed sounds and music in some places (not critical)
- Fixed English translation of some dialogs.
- Fixed bugs in translation of interface.
- Fixed many errors in the text.
- Fixed sounds in Daniel's route.
- Fixed a bug with non-working sounds and music in Connor's route.
I am still working on updating some old and poor quality CG and BG, in the future I will try to update all old content.
These are all the big changes you'll see in the 2.2 update.
The release of the update "Contact" 2.2 is scheduled for November 15, 2020!
