Past work from 2016 onwards of development of the comic
🕑 Added 2020-07-08 18:09:26 +0000 UTCI began working on CHOKEPOINT in 2016. At that time and for a few years the concept i had for this project was extremely different to how it ended up. It was originally a giant robot story, but as the years went on i got bored of the idea i had developed and basically scrapped everything and went back to the drawing board and found a angle i found more interesting and unique. The original CHOKEPOINT was very bland in my opinion. Here are some works that i drew over those years, a large amount being when the story was different, the characters also weren't fully realized and the designs were still in development. My art style was also developing at the time so a lot of my old work i consider bad, but i think they give a good sense of the progression of the idea over those 4 years. Even though i have essentially wasted many hours on work that was ultimately scrapped, i am happy for it as if i had released CHOKEPOINT during the beginning, i would of dropped the project.
I have more work from the past i could show but for now i shall leave you with these. The next chapters script is currently being finalized and i'm also developing a One-Shot for the Shonen Jump manga competition which i shall post on my patreon exclusively for backers when i finish that too.
