Tranquil Road
🕑 Added 2021-04-17 10:48:48 +0000 UTCGreetings, travellers, treading on the ever-sleeping cobblestones of the Tranquil Road. The dreamy landscape, a moody glimmer of the street lamps and vivid colours of the trees, accompanied with subtle architecture will definitely let the party enjoy the rare moments of peace... Or will they just fool their senses and become a place of a sudden ambush
Although the picturesque nature of the map will very likely suit calmer moments of the campaign its layout provides vast opportunities for some dynamic encounters. There is plenty of room for even a bit bigger skirmishes and the environment can be used in different ways to your advantage!
Close your eyes, let the gentle wind sweep over your face, listen to the soothing, crunchy sound of the pebbles and travel down the Tranquil Road!
Adventure hooks ideas:
- Life on the streets of Mah-mon is not easy - sooner or later you will either starve or be forced to join some sort of gang. This situation connected all of you - the newest recruits of the Silent Moths group. It's time for your first mission - just a casual scrimmage with an opposing group. Everything went smoothly until you arrived at the place and realised, that they brought a full-size ogre with them.
- Have you ever wondered if the inanimate objects contain a soul? The answer is yes! At least the giant head near the main lane of the city has... This morning it suddenly started talking prophecies and muttering something about the inevitable end. The guards have already secured the place, but the head doesn't want to stop mumbling. It demands a conversation with someone of a truly brave heart, to make them go on some sort of a holy quest.
- Among the winding alleys of the city there are many oddities, but none of them can compare to the Arching Lane. This peaceful alley has a rather peculiar property of teleporting anyone who walks down its path to the beginning, making it seem almost endless. Royal Academia has announced that they are willing to provide a solid award for anyone cunning enough to discover the source of this weird behaviour.
