Bount Hunter Encampment
🕑 Added 2021-06-26 09:58:51 +0000 UTCGreetings folks! A melancholic, singing voice is cutting the cold, freezing air and invites you to the Bounty Hunters Camp. This company is very professional and well-stocked, so they travel in sturdy, massive wagons, that work as their homes, defenses, and means of travel. When they camp they build their tents near a campfire, providing warmth for everyone.
This map may do a grand job as a setup for an encounter in colder regions. The camp could belong to the bounty hunters, mercenaries, or even more unusual groups such as pilgrims or academic students in the field. There are many ways to both approach and defend the camp, so it should definitely help with managing a skirmish.
Wrap yourself tight in a sleeping bag, let the chains sing in the howling wind, take a sip from the waterskin and take some rest in the Bounty Hunters Camp!
Adventure hooks ideas:
- It's over. You got captured by the bounty hunters and are currently being led for a judgment under the charge of killing beasts in danger of extinction. Tomorrow you will get to the capital. It's your last chance to escape, as the bounty hunters had a party tonight and most of them are out of order. You have to be quick, cunning and use the environment to your advantage if you want to escape.
- You are on the trail with the Bauhemer Mercenary Company for quite a few weeks. A vague tension can be felt as you get to set up the camp this evening. The source of the tension becomes dangerously apparent as midnight comes and wild war cries of hobgoblins wake you all up. Although you are surrounded and outmanned you have far superior gear and if you manage to secure the wagons you can use the magical scrolls, hidden inside them to fend off the enemy.
- Not always everything goes clearly. That is exactly what happened this time when brigadier Teamara got into a quarrel with sergent Follethael about your next destination. Things got really messy and they decided to split their ways in the morning - each one taking one wagon. The whole battalion is supposed to choose with whom they will go. But maybe there is a way to persuade and bring together both sides.
