Chapter 18 Seele, you don’t want to...
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:13:36 +0000 UTCMinamiya Yu's performance on the first day was not ideal.
After packing up, Minamiya Yu asked his friends to go back to the hotel first, while he avoided the crowd and came to Bronya's booth.
After a busy day, he saw Kiana lying on the table tiredly on the handsome exhibition stand decorated with mecha elements. It was not until Minamiya Yu walked in front of her and felt the shadow blocking the light that she raised her eyelids with difficulty.
"Ah, it's Yu."
Her voice was weak, and it was obvious that she was too tired to even say hello. Her head was drooped, and even the white hair on her head seemed to have lost its luster.
Judging from the looks of it, Bronya should be doing well today.
"Well, you've worked hard today, Kiana."
"Um."
Without any modesty, Kiana accepted the compliment. There was nothing she could do about it, since Kiana was basically responsible for all the physical work today.
Seele doesn't like to interact with strangers, Mei has something to do and can't come, Sirin is helping Bronya with live streaming to attract attention, and Bronya needs to coordinate the overall situation, so Kiana can only helplessly become the slave.
"Hey, are you here to admit defeat?"
"Give up? No, I just came to check on you guys."
Minamiya Yu turned in the direction of the voice and saw Bronya, who was obviously in a good mood, and Seele, who was following behind her and looking at her with shining eyes.
It seemed like he hadn't heard Bronya speak in such a playful tone for a long time. Even at yesterday's party, Bronya spoke very little.
From the time when the game failed for the first time until now, the obviously good results have finally made Bronya's depressed heart relax a little.
Although she was busy all day and still didn't know much about Minamiya Yu's situation, Bronya felt that she could open the champagne in advance!
"It looks like things are going well here?"
"Hmph It's just so-so, I guess it'll easily make the top ten"
Bronya is pretending.
Noticing the uncontrollable smile on her lips, Minamiya Yu laughed secretly in his heart. This sudden childish look was quite cute.
"How's it going over there?"
Without looking at Minamiya Yu again, Bronya held Seele's little head and asked casually.
"My place is much quieter. There are hardly any people here today."
Minamiya Yu spoke the truth.
"Really?!...Ah, no, it's really a pity."
A momentary look of ecstasy appeared on her face, but it was quickly suppressed by Bronya. From the twitching corners of her mouth, it could be seen that she was holding it back with great difficulty.
"Laugh if you want to."
You can laugh now.
Minamiya Yu added in his heart.
The rather helpless voice finally made Bronya no longer conceal her pride. She almost put her hands on her hips and laughed out loud. After being suppressed for so long, she finally got to feel proud today, which made her very happy.
"Oh, don't be discouraged. I know your abilities best. Let's unite again and become bigger and stronger to create greater glory!"
Patting Minamiya Yu's shoulder, Bronya comforted her.
"Well, make it bigger and stronger, and create more glory."
Minamiya Yu also replied with a smile.
After a few more casual words, Minamiya Yu suggested: "Would you like to go to dinner together? We can take a walk around after dinner."
Bronya's eyes were clearly moved, but she quickly shook her head: "Although I really want to go, forget it today. I found some minor problems during the daytime trial. I have to hurry back to optimize the game before it goes online. Let Seele go with you."
"You really are serious."
"It's not that I'm serious, I just don't want to disappoint the players."
"Okay, come on."
"Yeah, you too."
"Then, see you tonight, Sister Bronya~"
Seele waved at Bronya who was full of energy.
"Well, have fun, Seele."
"See you tonight, Sister Bronya~"
Kiana stood on the other side of Minamiya Yu without her knowing, imitating Seele and waving at Bronya.
"Well, have fun, Ki...come back to me!!!"
Suddenly, Kiana's neck was grabbed and Kiana began to struggle in panic.
"Hey, hey, hey? Why, why? I want to rest, and I want to have a good meal. You are such a black-hearted boss, you are abusing your employees!!!"
"Shut up. How am I supposed to move the stuff if you leave? You said you'd help for the whole day. You're not going to cheat, are you?"
"This, this, I, I..."
"I'll treat you to a big dinner after we finish moving."
"Yeah, long live Bronya!!!"
Hearing about the feast, Kiana suddenly became energized and started to work hard, as if the listless look just now was not her.
After taking Seele out and arriving at the empty street, Seele looked around to make sure there were no acquaintances before hugging Minamiya Yu's arm tightly, saying in a reproachful tone: "Brother, you were too mean just now."
As the only person present who had played Minamiya Yu's game, Seele knew the power of that game. Seele had also tried the game made by sister Bronya. How should I put it? It felt like there was no comparison at all.
One is a game, the other is like art.
"Seele, don't talk nonsense. I'm not lying."
Minamiya Yu grabbed Seele's naughty little hands that were moving around on his body, pinched her soft fingertips and responded.
"But this is the most annoying thing. When Sister Bronya loses in a few days, she will definitely be embarrassed."
"Why, Seele, are you sure that your dear sister Bronya will lose?"
"This, this, Seele never said that, brother, please forget the memory just now!"
Seele was stunned for a moment, and her eyes began to wander. If sister Bronya knew about this, Seele would probably be spanked again.
"Seele, you don't want your sister Bronya to know that you think she will lose, right~"
Minamiya Yu directly transformed himself into a Far Eastern netizen and threatened Seele with malicious intent.
"Seele, uh... Brother, don't tell Sister Bronya, Seele will do anything."
There was a thin mist floating in his sky-blue eyes. Seele leaned on him, whispering in a sticky voice, which made Minamiya Yu's heart beat faster involuntarily.
Ah, no, Seele, are you so cooperative?
Minamiya Yu, who was overwhelmed by the excitement, didn't notice at all that a hint of excitement quietly welled up in the depths of Seele's slightly gloomy eyes as she lowered her head.
.......
"Hello, hello, can you hear me? Good morning, everyone~"
Sitting in her own live broadcast room, Sirin smiled and waved at the screen.
[Good morning, Ms. Puffer~]
[Today's Puffer Girl is still so cute~]
[What game is Miss Puffer playing today? Are you going to continue the mecha game from yesterday? ]
[I tried the game yesterday. Although it is a bit difficult, it feels good. I will buy a copy when it is released. ]
【......】
The scrolling comments soon filled her secondary screen. Without time to read every one of them, Sirin could only randomly select a few to reply to.
"Hehe, that's a game made by my good friend, it must be very good. If you like it, don't forget to buy a copy from Titan Games after the mini-game festival is over. Also..."
She suddenly gathered her strength and then said loudly in the live broadcast room: "I've told you so many times, you are not allowed to call me pufferfish!"
[Ah, I feel better. Thank you, Miss Pufferfish.]
[I know Miss Pufferfish, I understand Miss Pufferfish. 】
[Ms. Pufferfish, can you curse again? My friend said he likes to hear it.]
[Ms. Pufferfish, please, curse me again, I’m about to come out…]
Looking at the two words "pufferfish" that instantly filled the screen, Sirin once again puffed up her lips in anger.
Suddenly, the word "pufferfish" was used more frequently.
This scene appears almost every day in Sirin's live broadcast room and is considered a daily interaction that the audience looks forward to.
"Phew, forget it. I'm too lazy to scold you. Let's continue playing a new game today. This game was made by another friend of mine, who also participated in this mini-game festival. I remember the name is..."
As she spoke, she typed a few letters in the search box on the Mini Game Festival webpage.
“TO THE MOON”
