Chapter 29: Can't Win a Bit
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:19:35 +0000 UTC"Bubububububububu Bronya, you, you said Ayu, does he, does he know some kind of witchcraft? He approached me just because he was attracted by my beauty. He wants to control my mind and turn me into a plaything that only thinks about sex, wuwuwuwu..."
Huddled beside Bronya, Kiana said fearfully.
Just now, Bronya thought something big had happened, and she didn't even care about the booth, and rushed to where Kiana was.
As a result, she saw this guy lying on the booth like a paramecium, trembling. It took a lot of effort to rescue her.
As soon as she came down, Kiana shrank to her side, as if only this could provide her with a little sense of security.
Bronya, who was already a little annoyed, responded subconsciously: "Yes, yes, that's right, Ayu is actually a hidden dark wizard. He approaches you just to control you and make you his exclusive rbq."
"Varied......"
It was just a joke, but after seeing Kiana's increasingly terrified expression, Bronya was speechless. She raised her hand and hit Kiana on the head in annoyance, saying helplessly, "I'm kidding. There is no such thing as witchcraft in this world. Yu grew up with me and is a normal person."
Hearing this, Kiana placed her hands on her heaving chest and breathed a sigh of relief.
"That's good. That's good."
"So, what did you see?"
Bronya was still confused. She came here and saw a huge crowd of people gathered around the temple. She didn't know anything else. Moreover, the crying had basically stopped during this period of time, and at most there were only a few soft sobs.
At this point, Kiana suddenly became excited. She jumped on the spot and danced with exaggerated expression: "I'm telling you, Bronya..."
Then, she recounted the scenes she had seen, especially when she talked about a group of people crying together. The frightened expressions on their faces could not possibly be faked.
"this......"
Bronya was confused by all the exaggerated words. She wondered if Yu had gone to the rainforest tribe for further studies without her and Seele knowing?
But soon, she shook her head and got rid of this outrageous idea. She was almost led astray by Kiana.
Interrupting Kiana's incessant narration, Bronya pulled her back to her own booth, as they couldn't leave no one there for too long.
"We'll know the specific situation if we ask in the evening."
However, this outrageous enthusiasm filled Bronya's heart with a deep sense of uneasiness, and this uneasiness became a reality when the exhibition ended today.
In just one afternoon, "To the Moon" reached the top of the list, and even had a huge gap with the second place.
......
"Reisen, how is the situation today?"
In a rather classical Japanese-style room, a girl with a kimono and a hair style sitting at the tea table was wearing a light pink kimono.
She held a teacup in her hand, and the light green tea created tiny ripples.
Next to it, kneeling was a purple-haired girl wearing a suit, looking a little uneasy.
"Princess."
The action of drinking tea paused, and the girl called the princess looked at Reisen: "Don't be afraid, just tell the truth."
Hearing this, Reisen was silent for a moment, then slowly said: "Princess, your game has fallen to second place."
"......"
"Really? I see."
There was not the slightest fluctuation in the voice, as if only a trivial matter was heard, and Reisen's somewhat dazed face was reflected in the ruby-like eyes.
So beautiful...
Even though it was not the first time she saw her, Reisen was still captivated by the appearance of her own princess. This meticulously carved face and this gentle and elegant temperament were like the collection of all oriental beauty, which was amazing.
Kaguya Houraisan, this is the name of the princess and also the master she serves. She is always so elegant and noble, and even setbacks cannot shake her heart.
"Is there anything else? I am a little tired."
The pleasant and cold voice brought Reisen back to her senses. She lowered her head quickly, reminding herself to look less directly at the princess's face in the future, and responded respectfully, "No, nothing."
After saying goodbye again, Reisen quickly left the room.
The door was closed, the bedroom became quiet again, and Kaguya's ears pricked up quietly.
Only when the footsteps in the corridor outside the door disappeared did she slam the cup in her hand onto the table with a thud. The splashing tea left spots on the expensive table.
She stood up suddenly and paced quickly around the room. The expression on her face became quite ugly. Thinking of her previous efforts, Kaguya felt even more uncomfortable. She simply rolled on the ground, venting her dissatisfaction.
“Ahhhhhhhh!! Who is that bastard!!!”
After rolling for a while, she sat up breathlessly, and crawled to a computer in the corner in three or two steps. She knelt there with her buttocks sticking out, completely ignoring her soft long hair that had hung to the ground and a pair of small feet wrapped in white socks that were exposed from under her skirt.
She held the mouse with one hand and moved it quickly, and soon the official interface of the mini-game festival came up. The eye-catching ranking was posted in the most prominent position on the official website.
'Rankings
1. TO THE MOON
2. Eientei
......'
Where did this game come from!!!
She had clearly studied all the top ten works yesterday and felt that she had secured the title. However, she did not expect to hear the bad news from Reisen just after she finished those tedious flower arrangement and tea ceremony classes today.
It was indeed bad news for her. As the eldest daughter of Lunarian Group, if she could not make a difference in some aspects, she would only be an excellent "craft" used as a tool for marriage of interest.
Even if she is indeed a princess as Reisen calls her, so what?
Her mother was also a princess, and she married his father for a marriage of convenience. In this country, the royal family had long lost its former dignity and became a tool for capital to gain fame.
Therefore, she had to become outstanding and valuable in some aspects so that she would not be sold like a 'commodity' by her father. The increasingly prosperous entertainment products were her target. She herself liked playing games very much and was quite knowledgeable in this area.
In order to gain fame by participating in this mini-game festival, she used the resources available to her, almost pushing the limits of what was allowed to build up the material for her work. As long as she could get first place and then show actual data after selling it, she could apply for more resources and then grow bigger and stronger step by step.
She had thought she had it all figured out, but who could have imagined that someone would show up halfway and knock her off her feet. Without the homepage recommendation that the first place winner got, she had no confidence that she could produce data that would satisfy those ruthless relatives.
She didn't believe it and opened the specific information of the list. If the gap was small, it was not impossible...
However, after seeing the heat value that was almost ten times different, Kaguya fell silent, quietly turned off the computer, hugged her legs, and shrank into the corner of the room.
I can't win at all, so I become autistic.
