Chapter 31 Sorry, Seele
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:20:20 +0000 UTCA week passed quickly, and the final ranking of the mini-game festival was posted on the game’s official website by official staff.
Final ranking
1. TO THE MOON
2. Eientei
3. Alahato α
......'
To the Moon was still far ahead of the second place with a huge gap, and the final data was more than ten times different. However, Bronya's Alahato, probably because it belonged to the same Gensokyo company as To the Moon, also gained some attention and rushed to the third place.
"So, have you admitted defeat?"
Arriving at Bronya's house, Minamiya Yu asked Bronya with a smile.
However, even though she had already started to pack up with Seele's help, she still responded somewhat stubbornly: "This is just the last bit of popularity. After all, your game is a story-based game. What if everyone doesn't plan to pay for the tickets after watching it?"
This statement does make sense. As a game that focuses on the plot, many people will lose interest in playing it a second time after playing it once. Why pay for it when you can get it for free?
However, this situation will only occur when the popularity difference is not too big. Now that the gap is already this big, we can only say that Bronya is somewhat whimsical.
At twelve noon, all the games on display were put on the Titan gaming platform on time. Because the games were not large in size, Minamiya Yu priced each game at only 29 Titan gaming points. Mobile phones and PCs are interoperable, so both can be downloaded and played. This can be said to be quite conscientious, and he did not take advantage of the popularity to raise prices.
And then, without a doubt, it sold out.
Calling up the behind-the-scenes parameters, Minamiya Yu, Seele and Bronya looked together at the sales curve that was almost vertically rising.
Ten thousand, fifty thousand, one hundred thousand, two hundred thousand...
This scene made Minamiya Yu nod with satisfaction, Seele's eyes were full of admiration, and Bronya sighed, dispelling the last extravagant hope in her heart.
In the end, "To the Moon" sold 840,000 copies within one hour of its release, and it was accompanied by banner recommendations for several weeks. It should only be a matter of time before the sales exceeded one million, or even two million.
This has far exceeded the achievement of going to the moon in the previous life. It can only be said that the buffs that Ellie + Eden and Minamiya Yu have piled up for it are really enough, and it can't be buried at all.
"Are you convinced?"
With his arms folded, Minamiya Yu looked happily at the somewhat autistic Bronya.
"...It's just using Eden's heat..."
"Even without Eden, do you think you can win?"
"......"
Minamiya Yu's question left Bronya silent. Having played the game herself, she naturally understood how high the game quality of "To the Moon" was. It was almost reaching the ceiling of similar games. How could she be confident?
Even without Eden, this would still be a game destined to be popular, and it was not something her Alahato could mess with.
Seeing this, Minamiya Yu stopped provoking her and started rolling up his sleeves to get to work.
From today on, Bronya finally moved back to live with them. After nearly two years of separation, the three inseparable friends finally reunited.
However, naturally some minor incidents occurred after moving back.
There are not enough rooms on the second floor, so the studio naturally needs to be retained and the remaining bedrooms are also occupied.
At this time, Seele took the initiative to raise her hand, indicating that she would give her room to Sister Bronya. As for herself, hehehe~
This made Bronya glance at her lightly, then raised the corners of her mouth and said with a hint of joy: "Okay, Seele, let's live in the same room from now on."
Seele: “?”
She immediately widened her eyes and looked at the smiling sister Bronya. This, this, this, this is not right. Seele didn’t mean that!
Soon, Minamiya Yu saw Seele's look of help.
In order to get the warm, soft and fragrant little pillow in the future, Minamiya Yu naturally chose to step forward and insert herself between Seele and Bronya.
"Ahem, Seele has given up her room, so let her live wherever she wants. Anyway, the rooms are big enough to accommodate one more person."
Seele also stood behind Minamiya Yu, hugged his arm and leaned out half of her body, looking at Sister Bronya and nodding repeatedly.
"Oh."
Bronya snorted disdainfully and said nothing more. She picked up her things and started moving to the second floor.
How could she not know what this horny girl was thinking? What she said just now was just to tease her.
As the afterglow of the setting sun spread across the street, the three people who had been busy all afternoon finally sat on the terrace on the second floor and had some time to rest.
After drinking a cup of sweet drink, Seele, who couldn't sit still, ran downstairs to cook, saying that her sister Bronya had finally returned, and she had to prepare a sumptuous meal to celebrate.
Without Seele's chattering, the terrace on the second floor returned to tranquility.
There was no hustle and bustle of a downtown area outside the residential area. Looking at the orange sky, Bronya was a little dazed.
She thought she would be very sad after losing, but since she took her first step into this house in the afternoon, her heart involuntarily relaxed.
It seemed that she hadn't felt this relaxed and at ease for almost two years. This feeling made her a little dazed, and she couldn't help but recall the quarrel two years ago.
Now that she thinks about it, what Minamiya Yu said is actually true. Without sufficient capital, how can she be qualified to pursue her dreams? The pain of failing the game for the first time and barely being able to afford food is still vivid in her mind. If it weren't for Minamiya Yu's support, she would have lost long ago.
After playing to the moon, she finally understood what the contract was. It was just Minamiya Yu playing along with the temper of a little girl and playing with her patiently. She was too proud back then. The person involved is often confused, while the bystander can see things more clearly.
With a sigh, Bronya relaxed her body against the back of the chair and turned her eyes to look at the boy beside her who was also quiet at this moment.
The afterglow of the setting sun covered him with a layer of golden gauze. He closed his eyes, leaned back in the chair, and breathed evenly. He seemed to be asleep.
Two years have made this boy lose his childishness and look more mature. His peaceful sleeping face touched the softest part of Bronya's heart.
Unable to hold back, Bronya took out her cell phone and pointed it in the direction of Minamiya Yu. With a click, she recorded the scene. Then, after making some adjustments and setting it as the background of her phone, she nodded with satisfaction.
The breeze blew gently, lifting a strand of her hair. Bronya suddenly stood up and walked softly to Minamiya Yu's side.
Bronya, who was trying to play a little prank, suddenly stopped when she lowered her head.
Looking at the face that was getting closer and closer, all kinds of emotions after two years of separation suddenly burst out at this moment. There was anger and unwillingness, but more of it was the longing for the boy who used to be with her every day and opened her heart.
Feeling that he was still breathing evenly, Bronya used her fingers to lift the side hair on her forehead behind her ear, took a deep breath, and slowly bent down.
Her heartbeat suddenly became rapid, a persistent blush appeared on her face, and she felt dizzy and could no longer tell whether she had acted on impulse or had planned it in advance. The outburst of two years of accumulated emotions made her temporarily give up thinking.
"This is your reward for victory."
She barely found an excuse for herself, and the scene she had imagined countless times became reality at this moment.
The setting sun stretched the person's shadow long, extending along the stairs to near the kitchen, and at this moment, the two long shadows slowly overlapped.
Sorry, Seele.
Bronya said slowly in her heart.
