Chapter 38: End Soon
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:23:15 +0000 UTC"Okay, okay, Eirin, don't have that expression on your face. Being a rich lady with no worries about food and clothing is a life that countless people dream of."
Slowly untying the restraints on her body, Kaguya did not hide from Eirin and changed her clothes in front of her.
She was wearing a luxurious evening gown that seemed out of place in a traditional Japanese-style room. It looked dazzling and radiant under the lights. With such a beautiful sight, she must have become the focus of the banquet even at her first time attending one.
Then, she sat in front of the mirror again, humming a song while she tied up her long hair and slowly weaved it into a hairstyle that suited her identity.
At this time, it was almost dark, and there was another knock on Kaguya's door.
"My lady princess, it's time for you to leave."
After opening the door, an old butler in a slim tuxedo stood at the door and spoke seriously and meticulously.
"Yes, I understand."
With outsiders present, Kaguya's expression returned to normal. She looked at the old butler and nodded slightly, then moved and followed him.
Kaguya's residence is in a very remote location in the entire family. This alone can clearly show Kaguya's status in the family.
Walking through the long wooden corridor, the flowers, plants, insects and fish that she usually stopped to admire no longer attracted Kaguya's interest. With a decent smile on her face, she followed the old butler without revealing a single flaw.
The footsteps of the three people intertwined with each other. Eirin, who was following at the end, showed a struggle on his face. In the end, as if he had made some kind of decision, he took a few steps forward and walked side by side with Kaguya.
Without paying any attention to the old housekeeper's opinion, Eirin said directly: "Princess, I have bribed the key personnel. If you want to leave, I can send you out tonight. The funds outside are enough for you to live."
Unfortunately, Kaguya just smiled and said nothing.
She kept walking and looked at Eirin and said, "What about you, Eirin? Father will definitely doubt you, right?"
"You may doubt me, but I don't want to stay here any longer. I'll come find you after I transfer my property."
Hearing this, Kaguya finally broke through her usual polite smile, a genuinely happy expression blossomed on her face, staring at Eirin with a smile and responded: "Ah, can this be understood by me as an invitation to elope~"
However, after seeing Eirin's still serious expression, Kaguya sighed in boredom and said helplessly: "Eirin, you are still so boring. You can't even take a joke."
Maybe Eirin really doesn't want to stay in Lunarian Group, but this place is also where Eirin has fought for half his life. It is impossible to say that he has no feelings at all. Even if there is only a slight possibility, Kaguya doesn't want to do anything against Eirin's wishes. She has already helped her enough.
The outline of the luxurious and spacious main hall can be seen in the distance, and the bustling noise inside can be heard before you get close.
"Okay, Eirin, you don't have to think too much. I just lived the life of a rich lady. There's nothing wrong with that, right?"
She gently pushed Eirin in front of her to make her stop. Kaguya waved at her and left her with only her pretty back.
"Remember, keep in touch in the future~"
The gentle farewell was carried by the breeze and reached Eirin's ears.
But just when Kaguya regained her composure and was about to walk into the banquet hall, the old butler stopped her.
"Princess, if you want to, you need to go this way."
Standing in front of Kaguya, the old butler bent over and led Kaguya to a small door on the other side.
Kaguya had an impression of this place. It seemed to be a private place where those old guys discussed important matters.
Really? Is that so?
It seems that I don’t even have the right to choose.
Taking a deep breath and suppressing her inner tension, Kaguya put on the etiquette she had learned for more than ten years and walked into the room through the door opened by the old butler.
Watching her being gradually swallowed by the darkness, it was like a product that had been polished for more than ten years, and at this moment, was finally placed on the shelf by the boss.
.......
The other side.
Almost a week has passed since the final exam, and the exam results were finally posted today.
I also need to go to school on this day to do the routine work of distributing report cards and reading out holiday precautions.
After enduring the sleepy voice of the head teacher, the atmosphere in the class instantly reached its peak with the blessing of "happy holidays".
Minamiya Yu casually stuffed the report card with all 'A's' into his handbag, stood up, and after rejecting several girls' invitations to karaoke and shopping, she skillfully blended in with the three people from Kitahara.
There was no desire to discuss grades. All four of them were in the top 20 in the grade, so there was no need to talk about anything. However, when Kitahara saw Minamiya Yu, he started to be sarcastic again: "Hey, isn't this Mr. Minamiya Yu, our most popular guy among the girls? How did you come to our place? We are really flattered~"
Bang!
He was slapped on the head by Minamiya Yu, and he immediately wanted to slap back angrily, but he was dodged and tripped by Minamiya Yu, and fell to the ground.
"This guy still hasn't learned his lesson~"
Sugisaki Ken sighed, then stood aside and watched the fun. Uncle Kirito also shook his head and looked at Kitahara with pity.
He didn't know how many times he had been beaten, but he still didn't understand the gap in strength between him and Minamiya Yu?
After laughing and joking for a while, the few of them said goodbye to each other at the separate intersections.
If we don’t get together during the summer vacation, the next time we meet will probably be more than a month later.
Unfortunately, Minamiya Yu did not feel any sadness about this.
I didn't feel sad for even a moment about parting with my friends, and what followed was a happy holiday spent with Seele!
Who are Sugisaki Ken, Kitahara Iori, and Kiritani Kazuto?
Sorry, I'm not familiar with you.
He returned home in a happy mood, and Bronya and Seele were still one step faster than him.
The tickets to Europe have been purchased, and Mei has taken care of the passports. Everyone will rest at home and make preparations, and will officially set off in a week.
Moreover, according to the information Seele got from begging last night, Cocolia should be here tomorrow. She should go to bed early today and then tidy up the house tomorrow.
The work in the evening was cancelled, and the three of them used the extra time after taking a shower to play family games together for a while. When they felt a little tired, they returned to their respective rooms to rest.
"Seele!"
As soon as she turned on the air conditioner and got into bed, Seele was met with Minamiya Yu's serious gaze.
"Hmm? What's wrong, brother?"
Seele said as she moved closer to her brother.
"We need to get up early tomorrow."
"Yes, after all, Cocolia's mother is coming, so of course I have to get up early and clean the house~"
I have already talked about this matter, why is my brother bringing it up again?
"so......"
"so?"
"So let's finish today."
"ah?"
Just when Seele was confused and dazed, a hand unknowingly passed over the hem of her clothes and rested on her tight, smooth and slender waist.
Then, amid the murmur of Seele's increasingly hot breath, it slowly moved upwards.
