Chapter 41: How beautiful can a fiancée be?
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:24:36 +0000 UTCWithout even caring about the fall, Seele quickly propped herself up and tried to get up.
However, this put a lot of pressure on Bronya.
Bronya was still a little dazed after being thrown down, and then she felt a strong force coming from under her body, and then she was pushed up directly. Her body leaned backward uncontrollably, and then the back of her head hit the door frame with a bang.
Suddenly, she was in so much pain that tears came out.
Unfortunately, the culprit didn't notice this at all. He just got up and rushed towards the living room with great momentum.
"Why doesn't Seele know about this?! Seele disagrees!!"
As if she had burst out all the courage in her life, Seele looked at Cocolia angrily.
"Don't get excited, don't get excited, calm down."
Calm down? How can you ask Seele to calm down? !
Her brother is about to be snatched away by a wild woman who comes from nowhere, how can Seele remain calm? !
Seeing that stubborn gaze that didn't back down, and Bronya who was rubbing the back of her head, with tears in her eyes but staring at her without showing any weakness, Cocolia didn't feel nervous at all.
"Well, I think the fiancée thing is unnecessary, right?"
Seeing this, Minamiya Yu naturally made his position clear in a hurry, and then successfully got Seele's sweet smile. Then he saw her with her hands on her hips, looking at Cocolia and speaking in a very imposing manner.
"That's right, brother, you only have Seele and Bronya, you don't need anyone else!"
Bronya was stunned for a moment, turned her head to look at Seele who was a little drunk, opened her mouth but in the end no sound came out.
Wow! Minamiya Yu exclaimed, wow! Is this the broken window effect?
Before, Seele had never said such things before. She would even get jealous if he and Bronya got too close.
So, does his dream of sleeping in the same bed with her really have a chance of coming true?
Minamiya Yu was secretly excited and was somewhat grateful to Cocolia for making the decision without her permission.
"I told you not to get excited. I haven't finished yet."
Spreading her hands towards her two daughters, Cocolia seemed quite happy to see this scene.
"Although she is called my fiancée, it is just in name only. At most, we will meet once. If you like her, keep her. If you don't like her, just arrange a place for her. It doesn't matter."
Hearing this, Seele felt a little relieved. As long as her brother didn't really need to get married, it would be fine. Then, she asked doubtfully, "Is there really no problem with treating the other party like this?"
"Of course not."
Cocolia sneered and responded: "The purpose of the props has been fulfilled. As for what will happen to the props in the future, no one will care."
"Props? Why do you use such an excessive name for people?" Bronya frowned and asked.
“Because it’s very fitting.”
Cocolia calmly said something that silenced Seele and Bronya: "From birth, it was made clear that the purpose of the future marriage was to be responsible for it, and then forbidden to go to school, forbidden to contact other people, and then raised in tedious etiquette training. If this is not a prop, what is it?"
"......"
As an outsider, it was impossible to judge the thoughts of these wealthy families. Minamiya Yu frowned and said, "Can't the marriage be cancelled?"
"Sure."
Who knew that Cocolia nodded easily.
"Real?!"
Seele and Bronya's eyes lit up, and they said in surprise and eagerness: "Then..."
"But."
As soon as he opened his mouth, he was interrupted by Cocolia's next words.
"Let's not talk about the impact that the cancellation of the marriage will have on me. That girl is not so lucky. If she's luckier, she might change her name and marry an old man who is about to die in obscurity. If she's unlucky, she'll be like a prop that has lost its function. Tsk tsk tsk tsk..."
Noticing Seele and Bronya's immediately tangled faces, Cocolia added: "By the way, when that girl heard that her marriage partner was a boy two years younger than her, she was relieved. Now if I tell her that her engagement has been broken off, what kind of expression will she show? I'm really looking forward to it."
It can only be said that Cocolia understood the personalities of these three people too well. After all, she had personally watched them grow up. Their kind side made it impossible for them to even think of refusing after hearing these words.
"Seele, Seele went to cook..."
"I'll go help..."
How high-spirited I was when I came here, and how dejected I feel when I go back now.
Looking at the kitchen door that was tightly closed again, this time, there was no shadow reflected on the glass.
"You really gave me a difficult problem."
Feeling Minamiya Yu's somewhat resentful gaze, Cocolia glared back unhappily: "You kid, don't be so ungrateful, okay? Do you really think I don't know whether Seele and Bronya can keep an eye on you?"
"How can I..."
"Elysia."
"......"
Just the name made Minamiya Yu silent.
After a pause, he asked tentatively, "How did you know?"
“Heh~”
Cocolia just laughed disdainfully, then crossed her arms and said to him jokingly: "Do you really think I'm the only one who knows?"
As she spoke, she pointed towards the kitchen.
"Then they..."
They never showed it in this regard...
Minamiya Yu originally wanted to say this, but in an instant, cold sweat broke out on his back.
"Why, have you figured it out?"
Cocolia smiled, especially when she saw her son's embarrassment.
"that......"
Minamiya Yu looked at Cocolia with a bitter face and asked, "If I surrender now, can I get a lighter punishment?"
With her chin propped up, Cocolia bent down and moved closer to Minamiya Yu: "Why do you think I deliberately talked about my fiancée in front of them today?"
"Hiss~"
Minamiya Yu was stunned for a moment, then took a breath.
He watched as Kokolia's eyes gradually became filled with excitement, and his voice trembled a little because of his bold idea: "You mean?"
"Hmm~ Thanks to your calling me 'Mom', I changed my mind. How about calling me again?"
Minamiya Yu naturally had no hesitation about this. My biological mother, this is definitely my biological mother!
Cocolia also put away the recorder with satisfaction.
As mentioned before, Cocolia definitely has a preference for children, and Minamiya Yu, who has been with her from the beginning and shared the hardships with her, is naturally her favorite one. It's just that she likes a few more girls, which is not an excessive thing. From her position, this is already a very "kind" preference.
Having seen many of the perverted ways played by those wealthy politicians in America, Minamiya Yu's ideas can be said to be quite "simple".
At this moment, she suddenly said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you that your fiancée is quite pretty, so I thought I'd give her to you."
"Pretty? Oh, could there be anyone more lovely and pretty than Seele and Bronya?"
Although he was very grateful to Cocolia, Minamiya Yu naturally could not agree with this.
However, Cocolia took a deep breath and said in confusion, as if she didn't understand: "You're right, if you put aside the emotional factors, that child should be the most beautiful girl I have ever seen."
