Chapter 43: 'Dining Table Meeting'
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:25:28 +0000 UTC"Oh~ So generous?"
"It's nothing. On the one hand, it can give our new company a good reputation. On the other hand, it can shut up some black people..."
While eating, Minamiya Yu analyzed the pros and cons of donating.
Cocolia just looked at him with a smile and didn't respond. At the end, after he finished speaking, she added, "So, what's the truth?"
Minamiya Yu paused for a moment while picking up the vegetables, and then sneered, "Because I am willing, I donated it, is that not okay?"
"I didn't say no."
Now is clearly the accumulation stage of business, and the cash flow that has been hard-earned in the account should not be spent casually. However, the son said that he is happy with it, so what can I do as a mother?
"Bronya, what about you?"
Bronya, who was drinking soup, was called out. She put down the bowl and looked a little puzzled: "You earned your own money, why are you asking me how you want to spend it?"
"Tsk tsk tsk, you are being polite. This is our company's property. As the third largest shareholder, you have the right to make the final decision."
The current largest shareholder of Gensokyo Company is Anti-Entropy Entertainment, which holds a 50% stake, but it only participates in dividends and not in management. Minamiya Yu holds 20%, and Seele and Bronya each hold 15%.
However, because Minamiya Yu and the other two are still studying, someone arranged by Cocolia will take charge of the company, and Minamiya Yu and Bronya will only be responsible for making games.
As for why they gave up so many shares, it was of course because it was nice to be under a big tree. They can now be completely regarded as a subsidiary of Anti-Entropy Entertainment, and basically no competitors dare to trip them up in secret.
Just like Minamiya Yu won the first place in this mini-game festival, and there has been no public opinion throwing bad water on his game so far.
"That's fine with me."
Waving her hands, Bronya continued to struggle with the food on the table.
"Where is Seele?" Minamiya Yu turned his gaze to Seele again.
"Seele agrees too!"
Raising her head happily, Seele looked at her brother with shining eyes.
The carefree look on her brother's face when he said "I'm willing" just now was so handsome. Seele decided to hug her brother and rub him tightly at night.
"Okay, the first shareholders' meeting of Gensokyo Company has come to a successful conclusion. Thank you to Ms. Cocolia, the representative of Anti-Entropy Entertainment, and Ms. Bronya and Ms. Seele, the shareholders of the group, for participating. Let us look forward to meeting you next time~"
Minamiya Yu's funny voice made several people laugh. Cocolia nodded his head and said helplessly: "I will arrange for my men to draft a donation agreement for you later. Remember to sign it."
"no problem!"
Patting his chest, Minamiya Yu made a promise, and then he said: "In order to commemorate this significant first meeting, how about we call it the 'dining table meeting'?"
“I don’t think it sounds good.”
"Seele thinks it's okay!"
"......"
Bronya and Seele looked at each other, then spoke in unison.
“I suddenly feel like I’m okay.”
"Seele thinks we should change it."
"......"
Looking at each other again, they both couldn't help but laugh.
The atmosphere became cheerful, and after lunch, the three of them accompanied Cocolia to go shopping after a long absence.
Bronya and Seele each held one arm of Cocolia, and they walked tirelessly in front, pointing and talking at the shops on both sides of the street. Occasionally, when they saw something they liked, they would go in and take a look around.
Minamiya Yu followed behind with the bag, and at the same time, he was secretly admiring the woman's abundant energy while shopping.
It was because of his good health and sufficient exercise that he could barely keep up with the three women without falling behind. Along the way, he saw countless men sitting on the sofas in clothing stores with bags and tired faces.
Seeing him carrying a lot of bags, everyone looked at him with pity.
The shadows beneath them gradually lengthened, and when they were about to merge with the dim environment, the three people finally stopped.
"It's almost time, I should go."
The special car that was going to pick up Cocolia had been waiting for nearly an hour. Cocolia cherished the time spent with the children very much and waited until the special plane was about to take off before saying goodbye to the children.
"So fast..."
There was reluctance in Seele and Bronya's eyes, and Minamiya Yu stood side by side with them, silent.
"It's not like we won't see each other anymore. You still have to go back to the orphanage during the New Year."
Cocolia said this, then waved her hand and called Seele and Bronya to her side. After looking at Minamiya Yu who looked a little puzzled, she leaned close to their ears and smiled maliciously.
Minamiya Yu couldn’t hear what was said, he only saw Seele and Bronya’s cheeks gradually turning red, and later he even felt that Seele was becoming dizzy.
After a while, Cocolia patted Seele and Bronya on the shoulders, then got into her own car.
After watching the car disappear at the end of the street, the three of them turned around and left.
"What did she tell you just now?"
On the way home side by side, Minamiya Yu asked curiously.
"No, nothing, Seele doesn't know anything!!!"
Seele, who had been silent till now, seemed to be suddenly ignited, and her excited voice scared Minamiya Yu.
"Yu, it's not gentlemanly to pry into a girl's secrets."
Bronya's eyes were also wandering, and she didn't dare to look Minamiya Yu in the eye.
"All right."
Minamiya Yu nodded and closed her mouth.
Seeing that he didn't ask any more questions, Seele and Bronya both breathed a sigh of relief.
If this guy knew what Cocolia's mother said, they would be too embarrassed to face anyone.
What about the two of them being together? How could Cocolia's mother say such bold words?
Unfortunately, Seele forgot one thing.
When she was tossed around in bed and into a trance, she would have no secrets in Minamiya Yu's eyes.
......
In the blink of an eye, two days passed, and Minamiya Yu got into the black limousine that came to pick him up, following Seele's repeated instructions.
The driver was a girl in a suit with long purple hair. For some reason, after seeing Minamiya Yu, her face became nervous and she looked like someone who was easy to bully.
Looking at the hustle and bustle of traffic passing by outside the window, Minamiya Yu asked.
"What's your name?"
“Reisen! Mr. Minamiya, just call me Reisen.”
Tsk, we meet again.
Noticing that Minamiya Yu frowned, Reisen immediately said in a panic: "Sorry, Mr. Minamiya, did I make you angry in any way?"
"No, why do you say that?"
"No, that's good. No, that's good."
They stayed in silence until they reached the agreed location. Reisen stopped the car and hesitated for a few seconds before turning her head away with some fear, meeting Minamiya Yu's eyes for the first time.
Compared to looking directly at the future prince consort, she dared not disobey the master's order.
"Mr. Minamiya, although, although these words may be presumptuous for me to say, but, but please be gentle to the princess from now on."
Holding back her inner fear and shame, Reisen said, "This is the first time for Princess Kaguya. I hope you will show some mercy."
