Chapter 46 Returning Home
🕑 Added 2025-08-31 14:26:37 +0000 UTCTwo hours, thirty-seven minutes and fifty-two seconds had passed since my brother left home.
Looking at the time displayed on the phone, Seele thought a little dazedly.
It was getting quieter and quieter outside. There were originally one or two pedestrians walking around, but now they have all disappeared. Outside the window, the stars are twinkling and the bright moon is casting a cold light.
Sitting alone on the sofa, even though it was already summer, Seele still shrank her body.
The chat message on the phone was from two hours ago. She opened the chat box belonging to her brother, wrote a few words and deleted them. After repeating this several times, Seele sighed and threw the phone on the sofa.
On the TV in the living room, the dedicated comedians were still trying their best to make the audience laugh. In the past, Seele couldn't help laughing at the pranks, but now she didn't want to watch them anymore. The noise coming from the speakers made her already restless heart even more difficult to calm down.
"You shouldn't have let him pass, you idiot!"
In her mind, the other self said this sentence for the thirteenth time since her brother left. At first, Seele would explain a few words, but then she didn't want to say anything more.
Biting her lower lip, Seele murmured slowly: "Brother will come back."
"You idiot, I've already told you... Wait, what are you thinking about, idiot Seele?!!"
"Brother will come back..."
As if she didn't hear the voice of her other self, Seele murmured again with her eyes a little empty.
"......"
Black Seele suddenly felt that Seele might be a little too extreme.
On the other side, on the second floor.
Sitting at her own workstation, Bronya just couldn't get on with her work.
The code that had originally sorted out her thoughts was now twisted into a tangled mess in her mind.
Without the familiar figure by her side, even the ticking sound of the clock on the wall made her feel irritated.
How did you get here when you were alone before?
Bronya didn't want to know. She only knew that Minamiya Yu's absence made it impossible for her to calm down.
She said she didn't care, but when it came down to it, she cared a lot.
She wrote and deleted lines of code on the screen, until there were even two fewer lines than at the beginning. Bronya became even more annoyed and simply closed the program and opened her favorite game.
However, the Homu's Adventure that used to fascinate her no longer aroused her much interest. She failed to even defeat an ordinary elite monster due to her mechanical operation.
Looking at the dimmed screen, Bronya lowered her eyes and put down the controller.
Is it because the other controller is unattended? Or...
Forget it, Seele is probably alone down there, so call her up to play with us.
At this moment, there was an obvious sound of a door opening. Bronya stood up quickly, forgetting to put on slippers, and ran all the way to the stairs and stuck her head down.
"Brother, welcome home~"
The moment she heard the door lock turn, Seele's originally gloomy expression instantly became energetic. She didn't care about the ongoing conversation with her other self. She clicked her little slippers and appeared at the entrance on time when Minamiya Yu opened the door.
"Well, I'm back~"
Seele's sweet smile washed away Minamiya Yu's distracting thoughts, and then Seele took the initiative to take off his coat and change his shoes.
However, after getting close to Minamiya Yu, the scent on him that didn't belong to any home made Seele frown slightly, and her two little hands directly pulled up his tight shirt.
"Brother, your clothes are dirty. Seele will help you wash them."
"Not really. I just changed it this afternoon."
"Seele will help you wash!"
That serious little expression made Minamiya Yu swallow his words of refusal. He let go of his body and let Seele take off his clothes.
"Pants too?"
"Well, it's best to wash together!"
"Wait, wait, we're still in the living room, don't take my underwear off!!!"
In the end, with Minamiya Yu's resolute resistance, he finally maintained his last line of defense. Seele, with a hint of regret, ran to the washing machine with the clothes in her arms.
I threw my brother's clothes into the machine without caring whether machine washing would damage the clothes. Then I picked up the detergent and poured half a bottle into the filling tank.
Seeing the foam gradually rolling up and covering the clothes, Seele nodded with satisfaction.
In the living room, after being stripped naked, Minamiya Yu hurried upstairs to change clothes, but at the stairs he was blocked by Bronya who was staring at him intently.
"Bronya?"
Wondering what the person on the other side was thinking about, Minamiya Yu patted her shoulder and called out in confusion.
"ah?"
The eyes that were wandering around Minamiya Yu were pulled back. Bronya coughed awkwardly twice, then asked casually: "Why did you come back so late?"
"There was a small accident. The girl across the street got her hand scalded by boiling water, so I helped her deal with it. But you..."
Minamiya Yu lowered her head and along the half-smooth calf, she could see the white jade feet stepping on the wooden floor.
Blue veins can be vaguely seen on the crystal clear instep, the lines are elegant, the ankles are slender and soft, and the exquisite toes are painted with light blue nail polish. Judging from the color, it should be the same as Seele's.
How can food be placed on the ground? Minamiya Yu sighed secretly in his heart.
"Why aren't you wearing shoes?"
"Shoes? Oh, it's too hot."
After Minamiya Yu's reminder, Bronya realized that she had forgotten to wear shoes, and she made up an excuse without much thought.
"Okay, let me go get some clothes and take a shower."
Asking Bronya to make way, Minamiya Yu quickly took out her home clothes from the house and ran quickly into the bathroom.
During this period, Bronya's eyes were basically fixed on Minamiya Yu. It was obviously not obvious when she was wearing clothes, but she didn't expect that she would be so good after taking off her clothes. This figure and muscles made Bronya secretly smack her lips.
Suddenly, I seemed to be a little envious of Seele.
And that night, Seele became even more clingy.
