Chapter 444: Damn Love
🕑 Added 2025-09-02 15:09:48 +0000 UTCOn January 25, the Washimine Tokyo headquarters building was bustling with people.
As a former big shot in the gaming industry, he saved the entire industry after the Atari incident.
Washimine has never been short of news, and reporters often stay nearby trying to find some clues to make a big news.
Especially in recent years, after Washimine began to get involved in the entertainment industry, reporters have paid more attention to this company.
Many gossip magazine reporters would wait outside the Washimine Building in order to get first-hand information about Washimine Entertainment.
Because Washimine was the first Japanese company to enter the North American entertainment market with itself as the center, this title alone was enough to drive reporters crazy.
Although Sony also entered the North American market, it did so through the acquisition of Columbia.
Columbia is basically an independent company except for the Sony name in front of it.
It was only in the past two years, after Sir Stringer, who was born in Columbia, became the CEO of Sony, that Columbia began to have close ties with its parent company Sony.
But how can this compare to Washimine?
Washimine entered the North American market by relying on movies he directed, which is very different from Sony, which took the acquisition route.
Ever since Japan was fleeced by its big brother, the United States, in the last century, it can be said that it has a love-hate relationship with the United States.
The Japanese media is still very concerned about companies like Washimine that are capable of forging ahead with determination.
But no matter how lively it is on other days, it can never be as lively as today.
After all, usually there are only seven or eight reporters at most. It’s not like today, when a large number of media reporters and staff gathered in the conference hall on the first floor.
The reason why there are so many reporters is naturally because of a big news recently made by Washimine Entertainment.
Because today is the final day for the selection of new members for Trier, a well-known idol group under Washimine.
If it was a normal selection of members for a girl idol group, the media might not be so enthusiastic.
After all, female idols are like foot-washing maids in the Japanese entertainment industry.
Most journalists usually have only one initial reaction to this kind of news.
Wouldn’t it be nice to find news about celebrities coming out?
Why write about a female idol that no one reads?
It’s not like some unscrupulous idol producer turned his idol group into his own harem group.
Is the selection of new members considered as some piece of news?
But Trier is different. This team has created too many miracles.
The things this group experienced and the miracles they created after collaborating with the famous director Nanaya Kiryu can really make everyone exclaim.
Is this still the girl idol group we know?
From Luvia, who first became famous with "Goblin Slayer" and went straight to Hollywood after graduation; to Lily Wetting, who became a world-renowned star with the popularity of the Fate series.
In the eyes of outsiders, this group is no longer an ordinary idol group, but a royal road to becoming a world star.
The popularity of Trier also led to another explosion and popularity of Japanese girl idols.
Not to mention AKB48 produced by Yasushi Akimoto, local idol groups that had originally disappeared are also beginning to rise again.
Whether it is the producers of idol groups or the girls who become idols, they are all working hard for the illusory dream of becoming the next Trier.
This shows how attractive the name Trier is.
But what makes people very resentful is that Trier rarely accepts new members.
The last time a new member joined the team was Lily Wetting. At that time, in order to replace Luvia who had fled to the United States, Lily joined Trier as a "noble girl from the UK."
The next time was when Yumi Sakutsuki joined to fill the number of members.
The former was too purposeful when recruiting, and ordinary girls were simply unable to participate.
The latter is simply a direct internal decision, so it’s useless even if you have any ideas.
So all along, in addition to those girls who want to become Trier members, even the media and Trier's own fans hope that Trier can recruit new people.
The media wanted to make a big news, while Trier's fans wanted to find the new push in the team.
There is nothing strange about this, as many idol fans have strong cultivation attributes.
They enjoyed the feeling of accompanying a penniless little idol on his way to stardom.
So after the idol that their original fans liked becomes a big star, they will turn to promote another new idol.
There are quite a few people like this, otherwise idol development games wouldn’t have been so popular, such as “The Money Scammer” and “LL Dafa”…
However, Trier has not started selecting new members, which makes these fans feel uncomfortable.
All the old members have been pushed forward, and there is a lack of new faces, but it is a bit reluctant to give up Trier.
After all, we are used to seeing the beauties in Trier, and the leaders of other idol groups are all ugly.
It can be said that this time Trier’s announcement of recruiting new members met the requirements of countless people.
This is why, although it has been less than a month since the announcement of the news to the final election, it has already attracted the attention of countless people.
Of course, this also includes the attention of Trier members themselves.
"Ugh... I'm so nervous."
Yumi-chan in the corner looked at so many reporters and felt a little scared.
"It's not bad. Compared to our previous Fate premieres, there are still fewer people here."
Rin didn't care. She shook her hair and said confidently.
Yumi-chan looked at Rin with admiration: "Oh, as expected, Rin-sister, you are so handsome."
"Where, where."
Rin touched her nose embarrassedly, a gesture she learned from her man.
"Wait a minute, isn't that right?" Rin suddenly thought of something, "Didn't you, little girl, also attend the premiere of Fate?"
"Well... because they're all speaking English, I can't understand." Yumi stuck out her tongue.
Rin held her forehead helplessly: "Um... I say, Yumi-chan, you should at least practice your English. As an international idol group, you must speak English well."
"But I'm really not good at English~" Yumi-chan pouted, "I'm so busy with my idol work every day. It's hard to keep up with the homework. I don't have time to learn English."
Yumi wasn't lying, she wasn't a genius.
It is already difficult for her to keep up with her studies while working as an idol, and it is unrealistic to expect her to learn fluent English.
After all, human energy is limited.
Not to mention Yumi, the studies of the rest of the people in Trier are also a mess.
Sakura is fine. She is already in her early thirties and it doesn't matter whether she studies or not.
Rin could still barely keep up at first, but since she started starring in the Fate series, she gave up after struggling for a while.
Until now, this girl has not graduated because she has not completed all the credits.
Not to mention Lily, this girl gave up resisting from the first day she entered Tokyo University of the Arts.
Except for a few subjects that do not require exams or are related to the practical operation of film shooting, which may allow you to pass, other subjects either need to be retaken or are on the way to being retaken.
Luvia did get a doctorate, but it was only honorary.
That is, I got it through sponsorship.
There are people who can both study hard and be good idols or actors, but they are really rare.
Her own studies were also a mess, so Rin certainly couldn't say that it was easy to study and work at the same time.
But from a career perspective, Rin still has to give some advice.
Rin took the initiative to persuade her: "Yumi-chan, you can put other subjects aside for now, but you must not fall behind in English."
"Is that so?"
"As an idol, if you are really not good at studying, it's not a big problem for you to go to a communications high school. But you can't fall behind in English, which is an important skill for your future career as an artist."
"Eh? But English is difficult." Yumi-chan's little face was full of distress and grievance, "Sister Rin is bullying me?"
“No.”
Rin quickly denied it, "Trier is an international girl group, how can they not know English?"
"Besides, as the new generation of Trier's main force, you will definitely have the chance to be selected by Na... Kiryu-senpai to make some movies in the future."
"Hmm...making a movie with big brother?"
Yumi-chan clenched her little hands tightly. She seemed to have thought of some incredible scene and her face turned red with embarrassment.
"Well, Yumi will try her best."
Yumi-chan swore to Rin with a fist.
But Rin was not very happy. When she saw the little girl's amorous feelings, she knew Yumi's real thoughts.
"Well, Yumi-chan, keep working on it."
Although he said this, Rin roared in his heart.
[Kiryu Nanaya! You damned romantic! ]
——————————————————————————————————————
"A-choo!"
A certain romantic director sneezed violently and looked around in confusion.
"Director Kiryu, what's wrong with you?"
Seeing the director's strange look, Fatty Akimoto beside him asked with concern.
"Well, it feels like someone is saying bad things about me behind my back."
"is that so?"
"Ah, and the resentment is very strong."
The director scratched his messy hair and shrugged his shoulders with a lackluster look.
"But I didn't expect so many people to come today."
Looking at the reporters coming and going in the hall, Nanaya sighed.
"Who said Trier is so popular now? Even I am a little jealous."
Akimoto Yasushi laughed.
Nanaya's face was full of black lines: "Why do I feel like they are all here to laugh at me?"
Although many media reporters did come here for the final selection of Trier's new members, their attention was immediately focused on the judges' panel when they arrived.
To be precise, it was the two women with special identities on the right side of the judges' seats.
"Mr. Kiryu is really enviable. He has two such beautiful candidates for fiancée."
Looking at Ryan and Shiki in the distance, Akimoto teased.
Nanaya calmly replied with two words.
"hehe."
