Chapter 445: Choosing a Marriage Partner
🕑 Added 2025-09-03 15:05:14 +0000 UTCRyan and Shiki's participation in the selection has nothing to do with Nanaya, they were arranged by Shion.
What Shion meant was that the New Year's scandal was known to everyone.
Having Ryan and Shiki appear as honorary judges would be a good opportunity to increase the topic.
As for why it was Shiki and not Ori, it was naturally because Ryougi Ori and Nanaya had already gone to North America to reshoot some scenes of FZ, and they were not in Japan at all.
Of course, as long as Shiki doesn't reveal her foodie nature, there's no problem in cosplaying as her own younger brother.
She had a record of impersonating Ori in order to have a good meal.
But Nanaya felt that the biggest reason why Shion did this was not to gain popularity, but to be on guard against others.
Yes, the biggest role of these two is to defend against people.
What we are trying to guard against are those people who have ulterior motives and do not take part in the selection seriously.
Don't think this is a joke, there are not only those girls who are eyeing the fat piece of meat Nanaya.
There are still countless people queuing up outside, and Nanaya has been in the United States recently, so everyone doesn’t have much chance.
If female celebrities in the entertainment industry were asked to choose their ideal marriage partner, their first choice would definitely be the powerful figures in major agencies and TV stations.
For example, Sayuri Yoshinaga, the "national treasure-level film queen" from the Yoshinaga Murasaki family, married Taro Okada, a TV drama producer from Fuji TV.
The reason is simple. These people not only have a lot of money, but also abundant resources.
Being able to marry these men means endless wealth and glory, and at the same time you can avoid all the explicit and implicit rules of the entertainment industry.
It has been of great help to my career.
The next best option for these women is mid-level employees at Dentsu.
It has been said before that Dentsu is the big brother in the Japanese entertainment circle, and the other Lin Baos are just younger brothers in front of Dentsu.
Only Sony and Washimine, which are developing globally, do not have to worry about Dentsu's attitude, but their attitude towards Dentsu in the Japanese market is mainly cooperative.
The middle-level managers of Dentsu are elites who have risen from the grassroots level of Dentsu. They have a lot of resources in their hands. It is hard to say how much power they have, but they have no problem supporting their wives.
Moreover, because most of these middle-level managers have worked overtime in their early years, they have not started a family, which is the best opportunity for these female stars to take advantage of the situation.
Further down are male artists and celebrities, such as big-name comedians, famous actors and the like.
Although it is also a high-quality stock, it is slightly inferior to the first two.
What?
Are you talking about Dentsu's grassroots employees?
Not to mention whether these poor office workers have time to fall in love and get married, what if he dies suddenly from working overtime one day?
For an average housewife, the sudden death of her husband might be a good thing. After all, Dentsu's pension is very generous.
But for those female artists who hope to make it big in the entertainment industry, it would be very troublesome without the help of their husbands.
Moreover, the value of a female celebrity’s second marriage would plummet, so this deal is not cost-effective.
Only young artists, or people like Yumi-chan's mother who deliberately want their child to become a child star, would take this gamble.
If we classify Kiryu Nanaya, he can probably be classified into the first category, and a particularly enhanced version.
Not to mention that his current net worth is already several hundred million US dollars. If Shion successfully acquires [Erque], his net worth may even exceed 1 billion US dollars.
This amount of money would be very attractive to any other woman except a billionaire like Shion, okay!
Not to mention the resources he has.
For a film project that will be released on a large scale in North America, you won’t be able to find another director in Japan other than Nanaya who has the resources to produce such a project.
For those who aspire to become big stars, Nanaya Kiryu is a perfect match.
Even if you can't be my wife, being my lover is great.
If all else fails, find a way to get someone to have sex.
The requirements are not high, it should be okay to just be a minor role in a fate project, right?
Given Kiryu Nanaya's reputation for being nostalgic in the industry, it would be a shame if she had done something like that.
So Shion was also very distressed. She was afraid that her man's inexplicable reasons would affect the recruitment of new members.
The existing girls are annoying enough. What if we recruit a bunch of women who come here because of that man?
What if the team members don’t think about being idols all day long and their minds are full of business?
Wouldn't Trier be in chaos?
Don’t say Nanaya can’t.
Although Nanaya would definitely not take the initiative to seduce, it is hard to say what would happen if a woman really got close to him.
If the situation really came to that, there was no way Nanaya could control his lower body.
Especially since her first time with Nanaya was spent in the car, Shion doubted the tightness of her man's zipper.
So Shion directly threw Shiki out as Ori's Shadow Dancer.
The meaning is obvious.
If you want to get a bite of the fat piece of meat of the Kiryu family, you must first get past Ryougi Ori.
Even if this cannot be completely eliminated, at least it can prevent those little vixens from causing trouble during the final selection.
Once I join the Trier team, won’t I, Shion Washimine, have the final say over those women?
Do you know Tohsaka Rin and Shimoya Sakura?
Whether they can stay in the same bed with a man is entirely up to me.
You little vixens want to cause trouble in the team?
It seems to me that you want to eat peaches!
As for why Ryan is here too.
Then it can only be said that it is Lily's fault.
After learning that Shiki would represent her at a media event, Lily immediately sent an email to her sister.
Lily said in the email that today is the selection of new members for Trier, and Ryougi Shiki will go to watch.
In order to give everyone the illusion that you are still competing with the other party for Kiryu-brother, you have to participate too.
Fortunately, Lily is currently in North America filming a movie, otherwise she would definitely be hung up and beaten by Ryan.
What do you think of your sister?
A stand-in prop?
But even though Ryan was very angry, she still came to the scene for her sister's love.
However, Ryan's expression was not very good. From the moment he sat down until now, he had a stern face and did not want to talk.
"Be happy~"
Shiki had a smiling face and even waved to the reporters from time to time.
"There's no need." Ryan said calmly, "Although we are all shields, we don't satisfy those people's fetishes."
Shiki was quite open-minded: "People's busy lives need gossip to support them. I thought you, who were born in the UK, would care less about such things."
British paparazzi are world-famous, and journalists all over the world learn from them.
To be honest, even Hollywood gossip reporters are their disciples.
"Anyway, I've never had a good impression of them. They have the habit of digging into people's privacy and making them lack private space. Don't you think so?"
Ryan said with a frown, she seemed unhappy with the reporters.
"Anyway, no matter how my reputation is damaged, it's Ori's reputation that will be damaged in the end. Anyway, I'm innocent. Hahaha~"
Ryougi Shiki laughed wildly.
Miss Ryougi is fearless as she has a substitute to protect her from harm.
But her smug expression and Ryan's frowning silence were recorded by the reporters.
"Ryougi Ori is sure to win, and Ryan Wettin will be in danger of being eliminated. This will be the headline of tomorrow's entertainment section."
A reporter was taking notes frantically in a notebook.
The laughter not only attracted the interest of the reporters, but also attracted Nanaya's attention.
"What is that girl laughing at?" Nanaya frowned slightly. The two parties were seated quite far away from each other, so he couldn't hear clearly.
"Why? Director Kiryu is worried that the two of them will fight?"
Yasushi Akimoto glanced at the director beside him and smiled meaningfully.
Although Yasushi really looks like a fat otaku, he was a well-known playboy when he was young.
Why did the Kitten Club collapse overnight?
Isn’t it because the management represented by Yasushi took action against the idols?
You should know that in Fuji TV, gossips between Yasushi and various female anchors are still circulating.
In other words, Yasushi is old now and his body can’t take it anymore.
In addition, he has already started a family and even has a daughter.
That's why Yasushi gradually gave up the idea of messing around.
However, although Yasushi himself no longer has any ideas, it does not mean that his vision has deteriorated.
Even though he had only been in Trier for a few days, he had already seen through the relationship between Nanaya and these girls.
Of course, Yasushi wouldn't be stupid enough to come out and point out such things.
And as a person who has been through this, he really doesn't think it's a big deal for Nanaya to play with a few little idols.
Instead, I feel like I have found a like-minded person and that my romantic career will have someone to carry on.
【It’s great to be young...】
Nanaya noticed Akimoto Yasushi's gaze towards him, and he believed that the fat man in front of him must be thinking about something else.
"Teacher Akimoto Yasushi, what's wrong with you?"
Nanaya originally thought that the other party would be polite, but unexpectedly, Yasushi suddenly said to Nanaya, "Actually, compared to that British noble lady, I support Ryougi Ori more."
"What?"
Nanaya looked confused. He didn't expect the other party to say this to him.
"Director Kiryu, I just mentioned it casually." Yasushi said with the tone of a person who has experienced it, "Western women look good, but when it comes to being virtuous and managing the household, I think Japanese women are more suitable to be wives."
“…”
Nanaya didn't expect that Yasushi was actually analyzing it for him seriously.
Yasushi didn't pay attention to Nanaya's expression and continued, "Actually, Miss Shion is not bad, but the gap between your two identities is too big. Even if you are a well-known director, you are still a little bit inferior to the Washimine family. Marrying into a big family will make life very difficult."
“…”
The expression on Nanaya's face became very conflicted, and it took him a long time to utter a word.
"Thank you for your advice, it is very useful to me."
"Well, just figure it out yourself."
Akimoto Yasushi nodded with satisfaction. As an elder, he was happy to pass on his life experience to this rising star in the Japanese entertainment industry.
But Yasushi didn't notice that when Nanaya turned his face away, his facial features were all twisted into a knot, and he looked as if he had eaten Coptis chinensis.
