Chapter 449: The British Lion's Roar
🕑 Added 2025-09-07 14:42:59 +0000 UTC"Okay, thank you for participating in this review. We will send you a message when we have the results."
Akimoto Yasushi signaled to Astolfo that he could leave.
"Well, I'll wait."
Astolfo smiled very happily, as if he believed that the other party would inform him.
Nanaya felt that if the other party went for a job interview, he would definitely be the kind of person who would really wait if he said he would wait for two days for the result.
After all, he looks like a fool and is so easy to be fooled.
Watching Astolfo walk out of the venue happily, Akimoto Yasushi glanced at the others and asked, "How is it?"
This was the first time he had sought other people's opinions since the final trial began.
"What a complete little idiot." Rin expressed his opinion.
"Who says she isn't? But she is very unique." Akimoto agreed with Lin's point of view, "If she became an idol, she would be very popular."
"A clumsy but cute girl. She must be from a good family. Some of her movements show that she has participated in equestrian training."
Ryan concluded that she had a good impression of Astolfo because of his background.
"And she looks quite like what you like," Shiki teased. "Right, she looks cute, doesn't she?"
"Just a reminder, it's him, not her."
Nanaya said with a wry smile.
"Huh?"
Everyone's eyes widened.
"He?! Is he a boy?"
Shiki was immediately excited. It was the first time she met a boy who was as cute as her brother.
"So, you were just looking at her...his gender?"
Ryan's cheeks turned slightly red. She thought Nanaya was staring at him because he was pretty.
She even blamed him for behaving so indecently when he already had a sister of his own.
[I blamed him wrongly...]
Fortunately, Nanaya's words attracted everyone else's attention and no one noticed Ryan's ashamed expression.
"Boys..."
Akimoto was an experienced man, and he immediately knew why Nanaya asked that question just now.
To be honest, probably no one would have thought that there would be a boy in a girl idol group.
It’s not that no one has done this before, but that all such people have been caught without exception.
After all, we are a large group facing the public, and if a man sneaks in, it will be a very serious operational accident.
Things like AKB49 really only happen in comics.
Only some local idol groups with poor management are likely to be exploited in this way.
As for how Astolfo managed to get in, Nanaya thought it was just like how everyone would subconsciously assume that their junior fellow apprentice was a girl when they saw her.
It's simply because the other person looks cute that I subconsciously ignore the other person's gender.
As for Astolfo himself, he is just as everyone has commented.
He is just a fool.
The people chosen are those who don’t even know what girl idol group they are in, so how can they possibly pay attention to the gender requirements of the selection?
"Director Kiryu."
After thinking for a while, Akimoto expressed his opinion.
"As an idol, this kid named Astolfo has great potential, but his gender... is a pity."
[Yes, he is indeed very popular. ]
Thinking of all the jokes about Astolfo in his previous life, Nanaya felt that they were really useless.
After all, Astolfo is not Ori, he has Shiki as a substitute.
Exposing a man's identity is a very serious matter.
But it also feels a bit of a pity to just give up on this fool.
"Let me think about it."
Anyway, there is no need to announce the result directly today, Nanaya plans to think about it before making a decision.
"Okay, go ahead."
Nanaya made a summary, which was considered to have exposed Astolfo first.
The next girl is very interesting. Of course, this interest is relative. It depends on where you stand to look at the matter.
At least a few judges frowned after seeing it.
Because this girl dresses very...openly.
Nanaya thought for a long time but couldn't think of a more appropriate adjective.
But it is indeed so.
The girl was wearing super short clothes. Although they were not so short as to cover only her three points, she looked like the type that could seduce men.
Although this girl doesn't have the brown skin of Ryuki, her style is still very Shibuya-kei.
Of course this is the Japanese way of saying it. If it were Nanaya, she had a more appropriate name in her previous life - green tea bitch.
How to dress is of course everyone's freedom.
Even Washimine would not care how the girls dressed before they became his idols.
It’s fine if you imitate Huang Rong and dress up as a beggar, but whether you pass is up to the judges.
But because of this, these outfits will also reflect the personalities and characteristics of some girls.
The girl in front of me looks like someone who is particularly good at handling things.
Moreover, the other party kept looking at Nanaya, which made Nanaya even more uncomfortable.
Akimoto looked normal. Apart from Astolfo just now, he had seen all kinds of girls.
When he was doing the AKB audition, he even met several girls who explicitly hinted that they wanted to spend a night with him.
Akimoto was very touched. He was already an obese middle-aged man, but there was still such a young girl expressing her admiration for him.
Then he brushed them off without hesitation.
Although Akimoto had already given this girl a failing grade in his heart, he still had to go through the routine procedures with so many media reporters present.
"Then introduce yourself!"
"Hello everyone! My name is Nagagi Gin'ako, I'm a native of Tokyo, and I'm 19 years old."
[This woman really came for me. ]
Nanaya confirmed this again because the girl kept looking at him while talking.
In the introduction, he revealed his admiration for Nanaya Kiryu and even said that he very much hopes to appear in Nanaya's movie.
Nanaya didn't know whether this girl was smart or stupid.
I say she is smart because it is obvious that her words have been drafted and a lot of the content has been carefully polished, which is much better than those girls who stuttered before.
As for the idiot...
It's too explicit and unabashedly so.
To be honest, Nanaya can't generate any interest for this kind of girl at all.
Not to mention that her looks were far inferior to Rin and the others, just this thought alone made him dislike her.
But it was not her turn to say such a refusal, because Ryan spoke first.
"Ms. Nagagi, do you think acting is easy and that all you have to do is sleep with the director?"
Ryan was like a furious lion at this moment, and her very stern and angry voice echoed in the hall.
I can only say that the aura of the Lion King is different. As soon as she opens her mouth, no one dares to speak.
The person on the stage was so frightened that he couldn't utter a word.
"If you have this idea, I advise you to take it back! Please maintain the most basic respect for my sister's profession!"
Ryan was really angry, her blue eyes seemed to be spitting fire.
In her eyes, the attitude of the girl on the stage was simply an insult to her sister's profession, which was something Ryan, a fanatical sister protector, could not tolerate.
"In order to play the role of Saber, Lily had to undergo formal action training for up to 8 hours every day! She even strained her wrist!"
"Exactly."
Rin also spoke up. She crossed her arms and looked at the other person with contempt. "I strained my waist countless times for the role of the elf archer in Goblin Slayer. If you want a job that allows you to make money without doing anything, there are many places in Ginza that are suitable for you!"
Nanaya shrugged his shoulders and agreed with the two queens.
From the perspective of work dedication, Lily and Rin are both very responsible and they will definitely complete the tasks assigned to them by Nanaya.
There are no shortcuts to becoming famous and gaining public recognition.
It is impossible for Nanaya to do anything that would damage his reputation just because of physical relations.
Shiki on the other side showed an understanding look. She pinched her chin and whispered, "Well, what if we let her try to jump off the building? Just like when you filmed "Overlooking the Scenery"."
"I'll probably be scared to death."
Nanaya said indifferently.
"It seems that I came to the right place today. There really is such a girl." Shiki squinted his eyes and looked at Nanaya, "Are you really so popular? I can't tell."
Nanaya flicked Shiki on the forehead.
"Stop talking nonsense, this was originally your job, right? You actually let Ryan and Rin do it for you!"
Shiki said innocently: "They said everything they should say."
With things getting to this point, the review naturally cannot continue.
This girl named Nagagi Gin'ako hurriedly left the stage without even performing her talent show.
After the girl left, Nanaya picked up the microphone and reminded the media reporters present.
"Ahem, sorry, don't show that part just now."
Although it was understandable, Rin's words were really explicit, and it would not be good for her to let them out.
No reporter expressed any objection. Those who were able to enter the venue today were all media outlets that had a good relationship with Washimine, so they naturally would not object to Nanaya's decision.
Ryan secretly looked at Nanaya with gratitude. She thought Nanaya was protecting his image.
She did lose her composure just now, and of course, if it happened again, she would still say the same thing.
After all, she was her most precious sister.
But on the other hand...
[It seems like I came to the right place today. I still need to help Lily keep an eye on Kiryu. ]
The aftermath of this long-term review lasted for a long time.
The next few girls behaved inappropriately, and their eyes were filled with fear when they looked at Ryan.
It seems that Ryan's lion roar is really powerful.
Fortunately, Yasushi Akimoto is very experienced. He tries to encourage these girls while discovering their shining points.
For Akimoto, this trip to the final review was not in vain.
He has already found several girls who are suitable for AKB and plans to recruit them into his team when the opportunity arises.
Another girl stood on the stage. This girl had a red ponytail, a sweet face and impressive big eyes.
"Hello everyone, hello Akimoto-sensei! Director Kiryu! My name is Kujo Kaede, I was born in Tokyo, my hobbies are horseback riding and raising wild boars."
This young lady from Kyoto finally made her debut.
