Chapter 60: Old Business
🕑 Added 2025-09-07 14:44:19 +0000 UTCIs this the surprise that Elysia mentioned before?
Ely's words emerged in his mind, and Minamiya Yu smiled and clicked to save the picture.
It’s true, this feeling is quite pleasant, but it also feels a bit weird.
"About the fact that a big star with millions of fans is actually my lover behind my back"?
Some thoughts were running wild in his mind, but at this moment, a faint voice slowly sounded in his ears.
"Brother, the people above are you and Sister Ely, right?"
Looking at the fireworks all over the sky, Seele suddenly understood something. Her originally curious expression suddenly became quite resentful. She just stretched out her little head and stood between her brother and the phone, looking at him with her little blue eyes without blinking.
"...Ahem, should, probably."
His sight suddenly became vague and he dodged left and right, which made Seele even more dissatisfied. She puffed her cheeks, clasped her hands tightly, and vowed to get to the bottom of the matter.
"What?"
Bronya, who was standing by, was a little puzzled, and immediately came over in confusion.
"Sister Bronya, my brother... ah!!!"
Before she could finish her complaint, Seele felt a strong force acting on her waist, and her body instantly flew into the air.
"Ah, I feel so hungry. Seele, let's go and cook!"
As he spoke, Minamiya Yu supported himself with his legs and carried Seele, who was hugging him tightly, on his shoulders. While Bronya was distracted, he rushed out of the room.
"Hey, wait!"
As Bronya stretched out her hand to call back, all that was left in front of her was a tightly closed door.
"......"
......
After dinner, they rested for a whole night to get enough rest. The next morning, Minamiya Yu and Bronya appeared in the studio.
"Okay, we've rested for so long, let's get to work, get to work!"
After stretching for a long time, Minamiya Yu twisted his neck and turned on the computer.
"I have completed the basic movements of the little knight. How is your progress?"
Ask Hatsune to help open the various files of Hollow Knight, Minamiya Yu turned his head and looked at Bronya and said.
"......"
Hearing this, Bronya, who was originally full of energy, fell silent. She opened her mouth, and her confident expression suddenly shrugged. She responded weakly: "Hmm... I haven't finished any of them?"
I thought Minamiya Yu would be angry, or show disappointment or ridicule, but he just nodded casually: "This is the first time you've made an action game like this. I'd be surprised if you could finish it so quickly."
As for the previous Alahato α?
That is, the mechas are a bit cooler, the level design is a bit more interesting, but the level of action tuning in it can really be said to be a mess.
Then, Minamiya Yu softened his voice and said, "I just want to see how you are doing. We'll do it together soon."
As she spoke, Hatsune had already opened the files she needed and was standing in the corner of the screen, waving green onions to seek credit.
I clicked the mouse on Hatsune Miku's head, and that cute big head immediately showed a happy expression.
"Yes, I understand."
This response made Bronya breathe a sigh of relief, and she subconsciously leaned towards Minamiya Yu. She turned her head and happened to see him checking the various movements of the little knight she designed.
With curiosity and a desire to learn, Bronya read it carefully.
I don't know how Minamiya Yu adjusted it, the little knight's movements looked quite comfortable, smoother than Dove, but...
"The little knight should be the protagonist of this game, right?"
Bronya wondered.
"yes."
With his eyes still fixed on the computer screen, Minamiya Yu nodded.
"So, aren't his movements too few?"
Frowning, Bronya raised her doubts.
"Too little? I think it's enough."
After watching the movements and confirming that they were correct, Minamiya Yu turned his attention to Bronya.
“Of course, too much addition will make things look gorgeous, but sometimes subtraction can also bring a different kind of enjoyment.”
"Subtraction?"
"I'll let you experience it yourself when the time comes."
There is no need for complicated stacking, and you can still be popular by doing simple actions to the extreme.
However, speaking of this, Minamiya Yu suddenly remembered a joke.
An old Hollow Knight player teaches a new player: "This is movement, this is jumping, this is attacking. Okay, now that you have learned all the operations, let's challenge the easy-to-beat Mantis Lord!"
"oh......"
Noticing Bronya's thoughtful expression, Minamiya Yu moved closer to her and pointed at her screen: "Bring out the models of those monsters first, and I'll show them to you."
Afterwards, the morning was spent in the tapping of the mouse and keyboard and the discussion of the two. Bronya also watched the models she was responsible for getting better and better. This kind of positive feedback was so refreshing that she couldn't stop at all. Working seemed to have become a kind of enjoyment.
It was not until Seele angrily urged her to eat lunch for the third time that Bronya reluctantly stopped and sat up from her chair.
Looking at the backs of Minamiya Yu and Seele talking and laughing side by side, Bronya licked the corner of her mouth, her eyes full of heat.
I really want to squeeze out Yu, and integrate all his thoughts and abilities into my own mind.
After dinner, Minamiya Yu continued to work until the evening, and only then did he stop to relax.
"Rest?"
"Do you understand how to combine work and rest? I don't want us to get occupational diseases like back pain."
Especially his kidneys, they must be protected!
"All right."
Bronya's voice sounded a little regretful, but she still stopped obediently. There was nothing she could do, it was because she lost last time. Now Minamiya Yu is the boss!
"Why are you still sighing when you are not allowed to work?"
Unable to hold back a smile, Minamiya Yu picked up the fruit plate that Seele had cut, picked up a piece of apple in the shape of a little rabbit with a toothpick and put it next to Bronya's mouth.
"Here, eat one to moisten your throat."
After stuffing an apple into Bronya's mouth, Minamiya Yu looked at the screen again.
"Hatsune, sort out the files for Kaleidoscope 4. The basic framework of the system should be based on Kaleidoscope 3, and then fill in the sorted text and CG. Oh, and remember to change the theme color."
Soon, Hatsune began to faithfully carry out orders.
On his screen, various documents began to flash rapidly.
AI is really easy to use. All these tedious tasks that do not require much technical skills can be completed by AI, and even the bugs are much less than those caused by humans.
He borrowed the system and UI of Kaleidoscope from Yuzu. In his impression, Yuzu's UI is indeed the most comfortable one among galgames.
When I was making Kaleidoscope 1, the system framework had already been sorted out. Now I just need to slightly change the color and option flow, and fill in the text and CG.
"Aren't you going to work? What are you doing?"
"That's just doing what I do, of course."
He leaned back in his chair and smiled maliciously at Bronya, then saw her look of disgust.
"Butter?"
"......"
He originally wanted to refute that galgame is not equal to butter, but when he remembered that he was making a Kaleidoscope series, he suddenly fell silent.
