Setting the Stage
🕑 Added 2023-10-05 04:41:38 +0000 UTCI've made good progress in setting up my workflow for bringing assets into the engine, so here's a quick shot of a cozy cabin scene that will be the backdrop for the game. I still have some stuff to add like materials for the furniture, wall decorations, curtains, and another furnished room. Sound effects too, and some animations for the fireplace. There's a lot to do.
I've got baked lighting working now along with dynamic lights and it's looking pretty good so far! Even without a ton of optimization I'm still getting solid FPS. Turnaround video attached.
