Beachside Bazaar
🕑 Added 2024-05-25 18:07:55 +0000 UTCHey everyone, welcome to the Beachside Bazaar!
Back when we designed the Beachside Bazaar map, Peku's original idea was that the Kuo-Toa lived here a long long time ago and built giant fish statues here to their deities. Some unknown event forced them out of the region and soon traders came to settle in this peaceful beachside valley. The Kuo-Toa temples ages and crumpled and were soon replaced with shops, watchtowers and a lighthouse to guide in ships.
In their reverential fear of the mysterious fish statues, the merchants left them standing, a silent remnant of the old gods. Perhaps if the right alignment of forces or stars occurs the deities could return...
We've also mixed up some very different variations with this scene too. With some very clever photo-bashing from the original scene Jesse has created a lovely desert city street! We hope you find them useful!
Enjoy!
P.S. Enjoy the new summer wallpaper Mo!
The music in the preview is from our good friend Will Savino with his project Borough Bound! The track is 'Centuries of Sand'.

LOVE the fact that we get to see three different areas!! Gives so much more to work with when moving from different areas of the same city during a game. Would love to see more of this! <3
