Starter Village Vista
🕑 Added 2025-08-13 20:15:16 +0000 UTCHi everyone :)
Welcome to our first ever Vista. The Starter Village. Hopefully this will provide a perfect hub for your adventures. Similarly to our normal releases we'll of course be animating them and creating a selection of useful variations for you all.
We're regularly going to be releasing these larger more zoomed out scenes that combine many of our maps into a cohesive area. They're drawn from a vantage point looking over a hill or clifftop or maybe airing via airship. We think this'll be a beautiful image to show to your players when you reach a new area. And a great tool for GMs to plan out larger adventures.
We've also been working on these new interactive Vista pages on our website. Hopefully this functionality will allow you to quickly come up with story hooks and ways to interlock scenes and battlemaps for your own games.
We're planning on creating many more of these vistas, with both Yggdrasil and Desert vista's coming soon. We're incredibly happy with how this first one turned out and we'd love to hear what you think too.

The Heart of the Village Battlemap
We've also released a brand new village map. This quaint village hub includes a butchers, florists, guard post, tailors, florists and a book shop/library with an attached residence for the owner. We've had several of these buildings requested in the past so we thought it could be even better if we combined them all into one battlemap.
We imagined that this would be the heart of our little village and a popular starting point to pick up quests, or perhaps just some nice flowers for a loved one.
Check it out and download it here!
Village Tokens
Of course since we're concentrating on Starter Village releases, we've also just released 2 brand new token packs for both the Tranquil Apiary and Windmill Farm. If you're a tokens supporter on our website you'll be able to customise your own now!
Czepeku Fantasy Bundle Discount
As we're releasing this new update to the Scenes project and to czepeku.com we're giving away a 10% off discount to the Fantasy Bundle for all new subscribers. Once activated, the discount lasts for 3 months. You can get there HERE.
We now have a working integration between czepeku.com and Alchemy, and we're beta testing the czepeku.com to Foundry VTT module. Both have been received well so far. We hope to complete those, as well as the Owlbear Rodeo integration in the near future. :)
It's our goal to make the czepeku.com experience as great as possible, and provide an improved experience that we're unable to through Patreon. We hope we can create what you need to run the best game sessions possible!

Are there any plans to pudate the Peaceful Village Church Map with a burning variant to match the Vista Variant?

Perfect for my new campaign, I'm working on; I hope to see this as a module for Foundry. For the time being, I will do it by hand, and when it comes out, I can upgrade it and the players will be all the more excited to see it evolve.
Czepeku Scenes
People are discussing it on the Discord! We'll see what we can do. :)

It's just incredible, but I would really like to see a ready-made module for Foundry with markers for transitions to other scenes.

This is the best map I've ever seen. Infinitely useful, so inspiring, and beautiful! Please make more of these, this is the best thing ever

You're right, it's not working for me neither, I've just asked the devs to take a look, they're probably in the midst of making an update. :) The website and patreon subscriptions are relatively similar. It the same content but a monthly price rather than 'per creation' and you can download directly from the webiste rather than coming back to Patreon. We have a lot more control over the experience of the website, so we will be focusing on improving that service as much as possible in the hope that people switch over, but the Patreon will always be active too.

I never comment on Patreon but I must admit that the vistas idea is a huge step for DMs ! Thank you very much ! By the way, I have a few questions. Does our membership on patreon affect your website in any way ? And second question, I saw the vista working perfectly fine yesterday but today it won't load the scene with the markers, is it only me ? (I tried refreshing a lot ^^')
