Oh I didn’t know about the visual novel aspect that’s pretty cool actually

The game has an auto combo system where you can just spam one button to get cool combos, but when it isn't fighting gameplay, it all plays out like a visual novel similar to the games so there's a lot of reading.

Loved the two Arena games when they came out cuz they were essentially story sequels to P4 (and P3 to a lesser extent) as fighting games/visual novels. For one like me that ended up loving the cast of P4, getting a continuation of those games and in fighting game form, which I played a lot back in the day, was awesome
