The Gamer Chapter 1032 – Return of the Dragoness Finale – Regular hunger

The heads of the gathered harem turned towards him in a steady cascade of action and reaction, until all eyes lay on him. That changed, immediately, once he stepped to the side and let everyone see the tall dragoness coming in after him.
Nathalia’s body was partly covered in obsidian scales. A particularly large, V-shaped gap started below her navel, leaving the Lover’s Will mark visible in its entirety, and parted further on its way up to her shoulders. Her sides and the indecent part of her breasts were covered. The way she flagrantly displayed her curves, the rest of her tits, and most of her ass kept her from looking anything short of scandalously sexy though. The gap between the scales on her torso and legs created basically the same effect as stockings.
“Kinda expected ya to come out covered head to toe in tiger’s cum,” was the first thing Rave had to say to the returning dragoness.
“We took a bath.” Nathalia’s answer was dismissive, her nostrils widened as she took a whiff and then strut over with long, determined steps to the grill. Her clawed fingers reached down, the gaps between her scales glowing with the same colour as the core of the burning coals.
A tong got in the way of her grabbing motion, and Nathalia looked up to see Salamander grinning at her. “You’re away for almost a year and didn’t learn any manners,” the apocalypse elemental stated.
“Manners are something I demand from mortals,” Nathalia responded and then flicked the tong aside. Before Salamander could get in the way again, the goddess had already grabbed one of the slices and dangled the half-raw meat above her like a slave would grapes over the mouth of a roman emperor. She wolfed it down with noble savagery, fat and meat juices running down her chin.
Salamander clicked her tongue and turned what else was on the grill around. She was visibly annoyed, although that was less about Nathalia behaving like herself and more about the gap in their power still being this vast. As much as the party had levelled over the past year, they were still weak compared to the goddess.
Using her as the standard was unfair to humanity though.
“You’ve gotten more attractive,” Nathalia remarked, looking Salamander up and down. “The short hair suits you.”
“THANK YOU!” Salamander shouted, gesturing at the rest of the harem. “See? Nathalia's got… taste… urgh… complimenting her makes me sick…” The dragoness, as if that was the most normal thing in the world, grabbed another piece of meat from the grill and then shoved a piece of glowing coal into her mouth right after it. “Oy, you’re not supposed to eat those.”
Nathalia exhaled flames through her nose, answering only after she was done chewing. “I spent too long in my Sanctum, devouring some simple flames is a pleasure I didn’t think I would miss so much.”
“Yeah, but if you eat the coal, I can’t get the meat done,” Salamander said and slapped her hand away from the sizzling barbeque. “Can you just wait for ten minutes until it’s through? Even your tastebuds must recognize it’s better cooked.”
“Hmmm… hhmmmm…” Nathalia pondered the options.
“Give her one more,” John chimed in. Whatever she had gotten to eat over the past year, it couldn’t have compared to barbeque prepared by Aclysia and grilled by Salamander. While Nathalia devoured that third piece of meat, John reached out to the weaponized maid with his mind. ‘Where is Richard?’
‘He left approximately fifteen minutes after you entered, Master,’ Aclysia informed him. ‘He said he would find you later today, after you made Nathalia accustomed to her new surroundings.’
John pulled out his phone and realized he had been in and out of Nathalia for about three hours. For once, he couldn’t fault the Horned Rat for leaving without any announcement. ‘Speaking of leaving…’ he thought and looked up. “Nathalia,” he said in a stern tone, just as the dragoness wiped the fat off her lower lip with a simple brush of her thumb. “I demand an apology.”
“For how I left you.” The dragoness understood immediately and faced him. After just looking at him for several seconds, she lowered her head. It was shy of a proper bow, but John still appreciated the uncharacteristically stiff gesture. “Realizing I had the urge to protect you and to see you prosper beyond my own reach, I saw no choice but to separate us. I will not apologize for having done it. You did deserve a better and more timely explanation, however.”
John’s facial features softened up. He had expected her to refuse to apologize or for him to need to hear more than a simple admission. Perhaps he was pleased too easily, but the Gamer didn’t find it in him to demand more than that. Coming up close, he kissed her on her lips. He had to get on his toes to do so. Not exactly the dynamic he preferred, but he was willing to make an exception for her. “Just don’t leave me like that ever again.”
“I promise,” she responded.
“Missed ya too, Natty,” Rave joined them in a group cuddle.
“Jane,” the dragoness hummed and turned towards the Gamer’s girlfriend. There was a bit of uncertainty in the air. Nathalia had gotten along well enough with the rest of the harem, but she had never quite seen herself as one of them.
“Same as always,” she grinned. “Hope ya don’t want to eat me.”
“I won’t eat people ever again,” Nathalia remarked. “That wouldn’t be appreciated by my mate or any of you.”
“And what are we?” Rave drilled in a bit further. She had the same doubt as John. The last thing they wanted was for Nathalia to have similar demands of her long standing relationship with John as Marie did. Unlike the French ambassador, there was no getting rid of the dragoness. John’s heart was too attached to her and any breakup between the two of them would be messy on the emotional level and catastrophic in terms of property damage.
“Mine.” Nathalia’s answer was immediate. Gently, she took hold of Rave’s chin. “You are what John wishes to keep. By extension, you are what I wish to keep.”
“That sounds pretty good.” Rave wrapped her arms around Nathalia’s neck. “Ya know, being part of the harem means I’d also make ya mine though.”
“I will allow it,” the dragoness whispered, while she bowed down. The two of them kissing was the initiation for the rest of the harem coalescing around the returnee. John grinned and grabbed one of the foldable chairs that had been put up around here. He just watched Nathalia re- or newly acquainting herself with the girls. The dynamic was different. Whereas before, the dragoness had seen John’s harem as additional sexual partners attached to their relationship, she now approached them with a decent amount of respect and interest.
Of course Nathalia was still Nathalia though, so Sylph’s attempt at a full body tackle-hug was met by the arcvolt elemental slamming face-first into an outstretched hand. “Do you still chatter ceaselessly, daughter of… HER?”
“Why does everyone speak about Mommy Tempesta like she is soooooo bad?” Sylph managed to speak clearly past the hand on her mouth. “She’s so sexy though!”
“Huh, so you do know her name,” Nathalia remarked and tossed Sylph back several metres. The wind spirit approached again at a slower pace and kept her lips sealed. Approvingly, the dragoness hummed. “So you learned how to stay quiet?”
“For a couple seconds at a time, yes, yes! I mean, I just got more brain to think with, so I don’t have to say everything to stay on track anymore. Not that I’m all that smart compared to everyone else here. I’m a big dumb-dumb, really. Uh, uh, but I did beat everyone at that Among Them game! That was fun! Victory for Sylph!”
“…You have changed and are yet completely the same,” Nathalia said and looked over to Gnome. “You, however, seem to have changed considerably.”
“…Uhm… you sure?” the season elemental stated.
“I no longer feel like you would break if I addressed you with the wrong curse word.”
“That’s… oh, that’s really nice! Does that mean I seem confident… maybe?”
“I suppose that’s a way to look at it.” Nathalia’s eyes wandered to Undine. “Last I saw you, your scars were still red… when was this fantastic orgy that spiked my lust through my avatar?”
“About two months ago,” Undine told the dragoness, “and yes, the remains of my corruption have finally burned out.”
“Is that what the colour of the scars mean?” Nathalia asked, her gaze wandering in thought. “How peculiar. I never paid much attention to such things. Are those tattoos on your arm of the same nature, Jane?”
“Long story short, yes,” Rave grinned. “We’ll tell ya what happened while you were gone later. It’s a long story. Ya remember Scarlett?”
“I do,” Nathalia said and looked intently at the Technomancer, who stared back without any interest. The two had shared about two hours of contact through the past communications they had with Nathalia and none of it had been time just between them. They might as well have only ever heard of each other.
The dragoness furrowed her eyebrows and got closer to Scarlett, who put her hands into the pockets of her suit pants and stood her ground. Bowing down, Nathalia inspected her fellow redhead intently. “Any problems?” the technomancer asked with a smile on her lips.
Narrowing her eyes, Nathalia tilted her head. “If you were someone else, I may have an issue with you, yes.” The goddess of volcanoes grabbed Scarlett by the hair. The two of them exchanged equally defiant and headstrong smiles. “I don’t value courage in servants.”
“I’m not your servant.”
“Precisely what makes this tolerable,” Nathalia purred. “We’ll get better acquainted tonight, I’m sure.”
“Should I bring whiskey?”
“I prefer wine.”
“Hm, I will see what I got.”
Nathalia straightened up and beelined towards the fully unfamiliar face in the crowd. Not as steel-nerved as Scarlett, Lee took an involuntary step back when the dragoness in all of her fiery certainty approached. The young Fateweaver prevented herself from taking a second one though, while Nathalia sniffed the neck of the woman. To do that, Nathalia had to bend noticeably forwards; Lee was a full head smaller than her.
“Do I smell good?” Lee asked, her sass filtered through a nervous tone.
“You smell familiar, which bothers me because I do not know you,” Nathalia hummed.
“Oy, did you not tell her about me?” Lee asked John, only to have her face grabbed and redirected at Nathalia.
“You talk to me,” the dragoness made clear.
“Yes, ma’am.” Lee’s answer sounded reflexive and more than a little turned on.
‘Note to self, Lee has a thing for being dominated by taller women.’ Although John thought something similar, it was actually Siena’s voice who he heard inside his head.
“Who are you, little one?” Nathalia asked, inspecting Lee from multiple angles. “You’re much weaker than the rest of this impressive harem… your looks are on par though.”
“Thanks? I’m Lee Magus.”
“Magus… Magus…” Nathalia crossed her arms and raised her head. “Was that the name of that raptor masked fellow? Are you his daughter?”
“Yes.”
“An expert in Illusion Barriers then?”
“Working on becoming one… you aren’t about to give me the whole ‘be useful for our man’ speech again, are you? I’ve heard that from Lydia enough times.”
Nathalia blew air out of her nose in an amused fashion. “If you know not to be deadweight, that’s good enough. Speaking of the queen, where is she? And where did you leave my favourite plaything?”
“Lydia has obligations in Europe,” John answered. “She’ll be occupied for a couple more days. As for Eliza… well, there is a lot going on with her. Thana is currently in control of their body and sulking about the state of their melding.”
“Good to hear she is less hostile.” Nathalia rubbed her lower jaw. During Thana’s first awakening, that part of the dragoness’ body had been involuntarily removed. Luckily, Nathalia was not a human and Thana’s control easier to suppress for Eliza at the time, so that wound had been healed. “And how hostile are you these days, Siena?”
“That depends, how much torment do you crave today?” the midnight elemental asked, her tail curving suggestively behind her.
“Another thing we’ll certainly find out tonight, I’m certain,” Nathalia purred, only to fall silent when she saw Nia. The pariah had Velka in her arms and just blankly stared at the dragoness.
“Welcome back,” she said and put on a faint smile.
Visibly confused by what she was seeing, Nathalia tilted her head. “You do not feel right.”
“Ya get used to it,” Rave promised. “Nia here became a Maiden of Null, so that’s probably super odd for you.”
“I know pariahs well enough, Jane, I mean her smiling. I thought you were an emotionless plank that had adequate cunnilingus skills.”
“I was always scared of and lustful for you,” Nia confessed and then suddenly raised her hands. “This is Velka.”
The Magryph chirped, the majority of her body dangling down. Because she was the size of a medium dog by now, that meant that quite a bit of birdcat noodle swayed in the summer breeze. “…Okay?” Nathalia continued to be confused and carefully took the pet. “Do you keep her as your emergency snack?”
Hearing that, Velka let out something that sounded like an autotuned police siren and quickly fluttered away. She hid behind Nia’s legs, where she stayed for the moment, while Nathalia turned towards Metra. “You were pleasant to drink with, I’m certain we will get along.”
“We’ll see that tonight, right?” The First of Wrath grinned widely.
“Correct,” Nathalia turned towards the last two she hadn’t greeted. “Aclysia,” she just said to the weaponized maid.
“Mistress Nathalia.” She bowed her head. “I hope you are not offended by my new features.”
“They suit you. Them mimicking my own is nothing to care about.” The dragoness then looked over to Beatrice, who bowed just as Aclysia had.
“Statement: I share Aclysia’s memories of you. I hope it won’t strike you as odd that I will treat you with limited familiarity because of this, Mistress Nathalia.”
“Continue treating me properly and we will have a pleasant eternity together,” Nathalia said and looked back to the grill. “Is that meat done now? I wish to be sated in every regard before I get a tour of my new dwellings.”
It was.
