From what I've seen, genuinely, the u18chan people actually do respect/enjoy engaging with artists in a way that gives actual criticism as long as the artist is responding maturely. There are a ton of assholes ofc, but on some of the threads where artists are engaging sincerely with the critique/are open with wanting feedback, and simply ignoring the clear trolls, I've actually seen a good amount of honest feedback. If you've got the thick skin for it, go for it. If not, no need. No comment on the piracy side of it, it's 100% a site dedicated to sharing comics/art with or without permission, but as for harsh critique that isn't just 'i love XYZ,' it's good.

I personally think posting onto your own Discord server, or even the more popular Furry / Bara discords. They seem to have some popularity among artists, and most of the channels have a separate Artist tag, and channels where Artists can post their stuff. So far I've only seen it working positively in favor of the artist. Good exposure, and the feedback is usually positive. I can link some if needs be.

They seem to have some popularity among artists, and most of the channels have a separate Artist tag, and channels where Artists can post their stuff. So far I've only seen it working positively in favor of the artist. Good exposure, and the feedback is usually positive. I can link some if needs be.

I'm guessing this is about U18chan? I would ignore them to be honest. It's a pirate site after all and most of the time, all they do is complain about the quality of the works that are leaked there, even though are getting them for free.

Not sure why they critique even though they are viewing something for free. I guess some people focus more on the story and its characters or focus on the sex positions and situations, and they compare your works to others based on that? I would say to just ignore their comments on your work. Discord and Twitter seem like the best sites to get genuine feedback from.

As Michael said before, people have a "Free mentality".. Which is scummy. And I agree with him: I'd say either your Twitter, or even Discord could help you gather the comments of the genuine readers, or a wider audience. Another place where I've rarely seen people post their comics as authors and freely talk with people about their comic / games / whatever else they made and decided to share there, is U18chan. But I think Twitter and your own Discord channel would be the best to go with. You can also control them a bit more, especially Discord, than others.

Well, they are just bunch of people with "free mentality", they want something free and the best to satisfy them. Just ignore them about what they said about your art. If you want genuine comment, why don't you upload your older patreon reward periodically on your twitter ? I see many artists do that, and they got more genuine feedback from their fans from my opinion.
