Hey guys!!! Welcome back to another update for Digital Romance V3! I'm so excited to share all the new things in this update so lets get into it
THINK BEFORE YOU TEXT
We're human and emotions do be emoting so sometimes, we find ourselves reacting first and thinking about things later. That's true for our sims as well. Which is why I made a small change to the Break Up Over Text feature. Now your sims won't be able to send that text to end things with that special (or not so special) someone! If you still want to go through with it, your sims will need to talk things out first!

I've added a new interaction for your sims to gain some perspective and reflect on their relationship! Once they've finished they'll gain a new moodlet:
It lasts for 3 Sim days and during that time frame your sims can continue to use the break up over text like before.
EXPLAIN THIS
Now POST-BREAKUP, The Dumpee Sims can get down to the bottom of it and Demand Break Up Reason which yes, you as the player can CHOOSE! Each Choice will have a different set of reactions so be careful about what you choose OR you can Explain Break Up Reason
Moodlet Examples:
APOLOGY...ACCEPTED? Maybe...
If your sims are somehow in a good place to be in the same room as one another, they can reconcile by using the Apologize for the BreakUp and your sim can choose to forgive or completely ignore the request. It's up to you!
Special Note: Depending on the choice you make it can affect your sims' relationships drastically! So choose wisely!
A CLEAN SLATE
One of the things I wanted to add to the update was for sims who choose to give their relationship a second (or third, or fourth or...you know nevermind) chance, I've introduced a new relationship type "Fresh Start" which will give your sims literally a clean slate! Their romance bar get set back to 0 and they lose romantic/attraction satisfaction (if you own LoveStruck) and their friendship is set at a decent range. It's up to you if you decide if the relationship can move past the problems of the past
WOO-HOO...No Seriously
Shoutout to smolpeach08 for the wonderful idea! Don't have time for something serious? Well, now you can send a "WooHoo Text" to have sims come over and spend the night. They'll arrive with a flirty mood so what happens between your sims and their guests is up to you! (Similiar to Ask to Go Steady, sims will need Friendship level 30 minimum for it to show up!)

Interactions
I've added a few new interactions now sims can Talk About Last Cupid's Corner Date, Read Love Horoscope or watch Latest Passions Cove Tartosa Episode! Some interactions will give notifications/dialogue some are just for gameplay/storytelling purposes! Some interactions can be found on the Computer or by clicking other sims!

This mod is called Digital Romance after all! So why not make it to where sims can POST ABOUT BREAKUP on Social Bunny? (Sims who've been dumped over text can do this)

So I don't have lovestruck and I keep seeing random dialogs pop up regarding "talking about last cupids corner date" even from married sims to their husbands/wives when I didn't trigger it. I'm not even asking them to do so. Is there a way to stop this, it's breaking the story telling a bit. Love your work in general.

Hi! I'm testing the mod with my translation to write a review on my website but I can't find the "Debate breaking up" interaction. My Sims are partners, both teens and I've reduced their romance bar to 20 instead of 80 with UI Cheats. Did I miss something? Thank you for your hard work <3

Yep. Break up over text is the old version. The new version is called Digital Romance (V3)

Just to be sure you’ve tested the mod by itself with only lot core library and MCC installed?

I did. I can double check, but I did try to read any comments to see if anyone else had this issue and troubleshoot myself before I reached out to you. I did check just now and no I don't have any previous version of this mod

It sounds like a UI mod issue make sure those are updated as well

Hello. First off, I love your work. Thank you for this. This unfortunately is not working for me. It just has the 3 dots that show up and all of the interactions are blank as well. Do you know what could be causing this? Also, does this mod conflict with something else that I may just not know of? TIA

Right now Early Access is for the $3 Cowplant Tier or $5 Vault Tier. If you look under your memberships there should be somewhere to upgrade or subscribe :)

Yes! The older version is still available for download as it’s public! V3 is just in early access until November 29th where it’ll be free to download 😊
