Polls update!
🕑 Added 2024-03-20 18:50:43 +0000 UTCHi lovelies!!
Sorry for the delay on this I needed to think things through ❤️
Like I promised, there is gonna be a slightly different poll system going on from May (April skipping because of the trip)
As you know, the previous poll system has been sometimes causing me distress and I've made a post about it. It felt a bit hard to share that, but I absolutely needed to voice my concerns about it.
Since then I took a break from making polls in favor of my now finished Catradora comic (which I'm very proud of how it turned out!!) and took some time to think what would be the best course of action. I took a step back to take a breather because I was even contemplating removing polls entirely, but after I was in a better headspace, I realized that it wouldn't be fair to everyone to strip one of the features you subscribed for, because of the fault of a few. Plus, I enjoyed it overall.
So here's how we're gonna do things!!
Next month I'll be in Paris for my gf's gender affirmation surgery and we will be there for a whole month, so no Patreon activity - pledges will be paused.
In May I will finish off the rest of the commissions and restart the poll system :)
The difference this time is that I will no longer take your suggestions monthly, but every 2, sometimes maybe even 3 months. In the months in between, I will give my OWN ideas (I always wanted to try that not gonna lie!) and will make visual adjustments to the polls by providing images of the ships to help you decide better. That goes for both patron-suggested ideas and my own.
All in all I think this is a good compromise. I still want to have these community-driven votes as I think it genuinely makes the whole experience better, and it's great to have variety. With the new system, there will be even more variety. And I think it will work out just fine :) ❤️
Cheers!

Lots of encouragement with everything!!! I hadn't read the other post until now but I think you are wonderful not only as an artist but as a person. When I subscribed I did it mainly because of your fantastic CaitVi art (although I also like catradora a lot) but what I liked even more is that as you said, unlike other artists you let us propose ideas through polls or even dm and you are always open to listen. You are kind and hard working. I wish there were no such toxic people, unfortunately there are always people like that 😔. Again much support and I hope you and your girlfriends are doing great ❤️
