August Tech Update

We’d like to fill you guys and gals in on what we have been accomplishing on the tech side here at Holodexxx. After we received your feedback on the Riley Sneak Peek demo, we knew that we wanted to go back and improve our base rig. Over the last month we have totally revamped our base skeletal rig, which will give our future models superior skin deformation and flexibility, allowing for more realistic motion.
We have paid special attention to the butt and genitals of this base model which will allow you to interact with our character’s butt cheeks, vagina, and butthole. This additional detail really makes the model feel like a fully fleshed out virtual playmate, and we can’t wait for you to be able to experience it.
This might be a bit confusing to look at, but what these GIFs represent is a big step in making our models feel more solid. This is some early testing but when realistic skin deformation is achieved, it will make the models feel more “present.”
There will always be a fair amount of roleplay when it comes to feeling virtual items in VR, but realistic skin deformation is a step that we can take to make that role playing less required. Features such as deforming skin generally makes touching feel more rewarding and unlocks some pretty cool nipple play!
Behind the scenes we are also cleaning up a lot of additional scans, touching up a boatload of mocap data, and preparing our new virtual environment. A lot of other more technical work goes into building an experience like this that isn’t so sexy, but is important nonetheless. Bug fixing, hardware integration, and general scripting powers everything but screenshots of code isn’t super exciting. That being said, programmers are very smart, and we owe them everything :)
We’re really excited for our next release and appreciate you taking the time to understand what we are building. This experience will come together fairly quickly after we wrap up these major technical hurdles. We’re building the most technically advanced virtual human experience with this next release, and cutting corners is not an option.
As always, thank you very much for your trust and support. It means a lot to us that you guys value what we are trying to create. We will be releasing screens of the experience ASAP, and involving the testing team in on the fun shortly after that.
Talk to ya soon! The future is sexy :)
