Marissa re-design
🕑 Added 2025-10-23 11:33:15 +0000 UTCDespite really liking (and still liking) the idea of a two-bodied character, originally, I created Marissa as a reflection of my strange mental glitch - depersonalization, and the two-bodiedness didn’t quite accurately reflect it. So I put Marissa aside for a long time in my creative archives, planning to re-do her eventually. Perhaps, this new form of her captures the essence better!
Marissa is now a combination not of two identical cats, but of a serval cat and a magpie, where the magpie represents the consciousness, the controlling element, and the cat is essentially an empty shell, a body controlled by the bird
Maybe I'll use the idea of two same bodies on a different character later. Maybe for my Sleepy Lake project, I'm not sure yet

I will miss the "Twins" aspect but this is very interesting. Can't wait to see more. Man, once I save up enough, I have twins I wanna commission you to draw... But for now I gladly await more of your lovely characters.
