Not sure if y’all like foreign shows but I highly recommend DARK on Netflix (it’s German and is better without dub). It is the best written show I’ve ever seen. I also recommend The Following with Kevin Bacon.

Sopranos is another great pick, I think she would like The Sopranos. While it’s dark, there’s also comedy sprinkled in and the cast is just perfect. SoA would also be perfect. Another dark show, but again it has a little bit of funny sprinkled in. Another stacked cast. Overall, it doesn’t matter too much what you guys react to. As long as it’s a decent, entertaining show to watch, you both are very entertaining to watch alongside it :)

Sons of Anarchy would be a Stranger Things situation 😂 we watched the first season like 10 years ago when we first started dating. I’ve always wanted to watch The Wire, idk if Bridgette would be as hype. I wanna watch the Sopranos with her 🤣

I loved The Shield when I was younger, it is a pretty hard watch though, and with the rampant police violence and corruption in the real world, it's mostly just depressing to watch now.

For TV shows, Interview with the Vampire is fantastic and is on AMC, only 6 episodes for the first season so not a huge time investment either, I think both you and bridgett will enjoy it

Penny Dreadful is another series that is absolutely gorgeous. Only three seasons (and relatively short seasons, at that!) but it is some of the most amazing writing, costuming, SFX I've seen in a long time.
