Hi Joel. I've had a difficult several years and you were part of what got me through the loneliness of mental illness. I know this is long and gone, but PLEASE release a surprise Patrick video! Hell, you're a famous incredibly rich filmmaker. Fly Patrick, Mason, Jack, etc. out for a special short (apologies if I'm forgetting anyone). I know that your community will fund that with an Indiegogo. I'm in for $50 for a film combining your East and West coast friends. I said that in jest because I'm uncomfortable. You didn't just make me laugh; you made me want to keep trying. In fact, I knew that I was in love with my partner after I showed her Pretend That You Love Me. So thank you. If I ever find myself in LA I might reach out. I've apart of productions, and your's seem the most organic and true. Anyway, I hope to meet and connect creatively soon.
