End of April AND May Updates!!
🕑 Added 2023-05-22 09:32:24 +0000 UTCHello, my squishy fellow humans!
I'm so sorry for post delays! I got logged out of Patreon and they weren't sending out 2FA codes. It took forever to actually get somewhere with their user support people and and I've only just gotten access to my account. So I'm gonna roll the updates for last month and this month into one post!
£10 Patreons
If you're a new £10 Patreon - hello!! I should have gotten in touch with you about what custom drawings you'd like (if any) and those should be uploaded to the big drive some time around June. If you haven't gotten back about a custom doodle or if you haven't been asked yet please reach out to me either on Discord or Patreon
New Video Updates!
The Simpsons Hit and Run video is a mammoth operation at this point which is only tangentially related to Hit and Run. I can't stress how unfathomably broad the scope of it is now I'm actually putting it together. If I were smarter, or if my script editor didn't also have a thing for videos which have these weird tangents and deep dives inside of them, I'd have made it into a mini series. Plus for you guys, though, because the Patreon is a per video system, it works out cheaper!
Because of the way the video is, while I'll be releasing it as one huge *thing* so you guys can actually get some entertaintment provided to you, I'm gonna focus on the first hour. The plan is to get that to a release ready state, and then post it here as a Patreon-only video. Then I'll do part 2, get that release ready, and essentially stick the two of them together for full channel release
Next Video Ideas
£10 Patreons should expect a poll in the next couple days to decide ahead of time what the next video should be about. There's a fair few ideas I have written down but some of them are significantly larger than others, and they'll need pre-production. Having the vote now will mean I can also divert some resources towards developing those, which might make the YouTube-Actual Job-Social Life balancing act easier to do
Other Ideas - Input Requested
One final thing - for the longest time (and inspired by the DK charity stream the wonderful hbomb did) I've been floating the idea of doing a charity stream of ever single Harry Potter film game from Philosopher's Stone to Deathly Hallows, including Quidditch World Cup in between Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire (but not Legacy) with the aim to raise money for trans charities. I'd need to do some research around good ones to give to but before I even get the ball rolling on that I wanted to float the idea with you lovely people and see if it's a good idea, bad idea, needs more time in the oven, best not, Chief etc. etc.
Anyway that's about all from me! Sorry for the drought of updates and remember to brush your teeth!

That's some solid advice as always ❤️

Not sure if people would react super well to the playing of a Harry Potter game for trans charities, but I still think streaming a game for charity is a great idea! You would need people to moderate and a line up of guests beforehand, and I would start working on that now. Also as you don’t really have a twitch presence, I would recommend doing it on YouTube

Thanks for the input, it was a concern I had as well - hence asking the ~hive~ Funnily enough 100%ing SHAR or attempting a speed run of the game was also a thing I was thinking about as a charity fundraiser because I feel like I know the game and quirks of the game well enough to attempt one?

have to be honest, I'm not 100% sure the potter-thon for trans charities thing really works, I can't claim to speak for literally all of the trans hivemind but the vibe seems to be more towards just having nothing to do with it and letting it culturally atrophy into irrelevance than reclaiming it or actively creating opportunites to dunk on it. would 100% ing hit & run work as an alternative?
