So, the thing I'm curious about is how is this software different from what was being used before, and what is it that is making it so much more fun?

Andrew, Dora is sounding more neurotic than Hanners. "Oh my god" indeed. Also, I'm not so fond of the Manga Studio line work so far (e.g. Tai's features are looking a bit coarse in panel 2), but on the other hand all of the new stages in the art evolution of this strip have taken a little while to shake down, so it'll probably be fine in a week or so.
