This is a good example of a comic where I didn't have a punchline I was happy with until I was actually lettering it, and then Bubbles' line in panel 4 just popped into my head. This happens surprisingly often!

I think it does benefit from a spoken punchline. I particularly think it's a good one on the basis that whether the risk to her safety is from hitting herself or for being arrested for treason is open to debate.

I wonder if there is more than one Emily in there. If you alternate her speech bubbles, it's like there are 2 people, and Emily-B controls the left hand.
