So.... I might be late to the party, but is this the same Renée who works at the Secret Bakery, aka. Angus's ex? Took a while to figure out the resemblance considering her hair's a lot longer than I recall, and she's not wearing her glasses. I suppose it's trying to distinguish her a bit more from being "just" an African-American version of Faye, since they share similar temperaments?
