I guess the monster wasn't her memories after all. Corpse Witch's response betrays that pretty thoroughly. Time for Bubbles to let her have it with both barrels. Edit: Nice shadow work in panel 6.

Corpse Witch is a despicable character, but given Bubbles' history I doubt she will stoop to her level when enacting her revenge.

Something tells me CW is due for some... reconfiguration. That being said, I suppose the difference in being turned into a bidet, and being turned turned into a tasteful lamp might hinge on whether she actually can restore Bubbles' memories.

Indeed, and also the wicked smile on Bubbles in the last panel. It's expressed with both mouth and more importantly the eyes. The way I'm reading it, she's also whispering in the last panel, for an extra layer of creepiness.

Hmm, what would a lawful good person do in this situation? Perhaps hand CW over to the robot police, so she can spend a looooooooooong time in robot jail? Maybe after "extracting" and disconnecting her hard drive to ensure she doesn't do any damage in the meantime.

Check out CW's eye in that last panel. I dunno if that's a wrinkle of dismay, or panic, or a little tear of fear, but holy cow, that itty bitty detail is just feckin' perfect.

I am assuming it was supposed to let the monster out to rampage though Bubbles' mind - which isn't going to happen.

What's with the glowy eyes? Are they supposed to trigger some bomb or transportation device?

As much as people seem to think that Bubbles is going to go on a rampage, I just don't see that. She wouldn't forget about Punchbot or Jeremy or anyone else whose livelihoods would be threatened by the sudden death of CW. I think Bubbles has something a little more subtle in mind. Something that will stop CW, but not harm her friends and colleagues. Maybe it's take over her racket, I don't know. But I am really looking forward to finding out.

Oh gee, what a shame that safe happened to be open when Bubbles arrived. Good thing there will be nothing in there for the cops to find when the come to collect the CW pieces.
