Damn if I don't really enjoy the discussions here. The diversity of opinion is both fascinating and rewarding. It's amazing we've all self-selected to be here by virtue of supporting QC. I so like seeing the diversity of the dedicated QC audience. It might even make me sniffle once in a while. And, Jeph, I can't imagine what it's like in the mind of a creator who makes stuff that is simultaneously way out there, yet so engaging and relevant. It'd probably scare me silly to see the mental processes behind how the QC sausage is made. So, if you don't mind, I'll just stay out here, safe and (relatively) sane.

Thank you for this. It always bugs me that, while privilege is a real issue, some folks bring it up in a hurtful way, or act like they're morally superior and ignore the other person's humanity. I dig this arc

Also you have to understand there are a LOT of people in the world*, A LOT, who in this scenario would just assume that there is no second shoe, and there never need be. *not specifically readers, though I was getting the impression some were among us. I mean people out there on earth who are of the mind set that being CIS, male, white, well off, hetero, able bodied, etc. means you intrinsically have no right to say anything ever, and that anything people of less privilege do to you is retribution/reparations/fair/justice/etc. I'm always surprised to find how large that pool is. So when it seems like friends, people I admire, artists I like, potentially leaning in that direction, it's very disheartening. I'm glad that, as usual, I was worried about nothing.

Actually this is great that Hanners is the one doing this. We've seen in past chapters that May really respects her and is one of the only people who actually understands the implications of who she is. So it's fitting that May get's her talking to by her!

Thank you for the update, and yes. I was wondering what Hanners would say to May; I didn't expect her to allow Winslow's feelings to be hurt without doing something. I'm just glad she didn't tell Station because Orbital something something boom.

Being simultaneously granted early-access while over 400 comics behind. First world problems... I'm just beginning season four of GoT so I'm awash with enjoyable distractions... Just not enough time. This is irrelevant to the comic you posted but I just wanted to say thank you anyways.
