Knowing what we do about her dad and his coworkers, it's proably in beta; mostly until the lawmakers, ethics-commities, and insurance companies catch-up. I mean, after-all, the two main questions will be, "Is this ethical?" and "How much can we charge for it?"

Prosthetics have come a long way and with 3D printing have become cheaper. Advances in neuro interfaces are also being made all the time so it's only a matter of time before affordable, light weight, and full range prosthetics become the norm.. At the same time various anti-aging studies have been making huge headway so we may soon(ish, probably a good decade still) be able to pop a pill to reverse or at least stop aging.
