It would have been better if Bubbles had referred to herself as Bubbles in the sentence, simply because of the gulf between the names 'Skullmaster' and 'Bubbles' and the difference in size between them.

How did Sam get in there? Doesn't anyone lock their doors? Could Marten's mother have brought Sam to Marten's apartment? Inquiring minds want to know.

I like how Bubbles goes along with Skullmaster's always referring to Skullmaster in the third person with no pronouns. (Speaking as a parent: It's useful! It avoids derailing the kid into an argument about how Skullmaster is to be referred to! But it's also funny.)
