I mean, Faye DID threaten Amanda with bloody murder, called her stupid and sent her back to mom... but she was cool about the lady stuff (I also think Marten and - especially - Dora helped). ...and I suppose Faye threatening Amanda with bloody murder was not THAT unusual during their childhood.
