The funny thing is how Tilly shows up right after Hannelore's identity crisis after a long day at Coffee of Doom. It's almost like someone is watching her and deciding, "Now is the time to strike." I'd much rather it be her father, though.

I'm torn. On the one hand, I really think we get to see a lot of "relatively uncomfortable" scenarios because comic. Also, I could see Hannelore doing her best to IGNORE Tilly into disappearance, with funny results around her friends and the other cast members. On the other hand, Hannelore is really uncomfortable here, and she doesn't want this person around. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm curious. I could see this being a bonding or closure scenario between Hanners and her mom. I could also see it being Hanners putting her foot down and asserting herself (which we saw once and everyone in the room was visibly shaken). Either way would be good.

I dunno peeps... But I'm not feeling this story line. =/

...Hmm. Well, I just don't get it. From a story-telling point of view, why do we need yet another character? Is there really not enough going on in the QC world? This "arc," if that is, indeed what it is, seems weak to me. What is the point of it anyway? We get a week or so of Hannalore bickering with her mom to ultimately teach her about her own agency. Or Hannalore accepts this invasion of privacy and now we have yet another character that really isn't necessary.

The comments and points of view is one of the reasons I enjoy subscribing to the early comic so much. Not only do I get to support a comic I have enjoyed for years, but I get the bonus material of commentary from the wonderful and diverse following the comic has in a slightly protected environment.

Reading the comments has been interesting and eye-opening. I've just been reading this at face value as a comic and enjoying this story-line. I'll continue to do so, but it's enlightening to hear the concerns of the other readers and to be able to experience their point of view.

I don't know if I'm going to wind up loving Tilly or hating her. (For the record, I did NOT like Bubbles at all on her first appearance. ) (There, I said it. I await your flames calmly.)

I've got a feeling the comments on this board are going to get as heated as the time Winslow got a new body and May didn't take it well.

This is pretty conflicting so far - it's showing why she's been so averse of her family so it's stressful to the reader of what's going on, kinda like how chapter 12 ( or 13?) Of FFXV is. People won't like this part, but I'm sure it's critical to get this strain of feelings across for the reader. We feel what she's feeling. That's good stuff.

This would make me super-anxious. I hate people being in my space when I don't want them there. Tilly is very annoying. She's just been told she can have a paid vacation and she still won't leave. Putting someone in the position where they have to call the police to get them to leave (even if they'll call the police themselves) is beyond stressful.

Thank you! This has been creeping me the fuck out. There is an unwanted person in her house who will not go away, and it's being treated like a joke. Hannalore should ABSOFSCKINGLUTELY call the cops.

Is it just me, or does this, "Please go away," "No, I'm staying in your space (where you've said you don't want me) and doing what I want to do for your own good! Just relax and go with it! You'll like it in the end!" sound like a sexual abuser gaslighting a victim? I know this isn't SEXUAL abuse, but it's Not Good. I'll provisionally grant that Tilly means well, but that doesn't mean she's not doing something kind of awful. Hannelore doesn't want Tilly in her space, doesn't want Tilly "helping" her, doesn't want to deal with her at all, and Tilly's basically forcing herself on her. Maybe it'd be more obvious if she were a man...? :/
