Question is, are these those little bitter red bastards or the big delicious golden ones? Two completely different things, right there.

Gregory Norris

I'm the exact opposite. I like raisins but don't really like any other dried fruit. Not too big on regular fruit either but I like most fruit juices.

These three are real cute, every interaction, adorable. OT3

DROID 06 NOT UNDERSTAND PURPOSE OF RAISINS

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

Sultanas are raisins. Just made with different grapes.

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

Does anybody else know people who drag THAT atmosphere into a room with them? I know at least two.

Trigon Manthree

If you haven't seen it already, Chief O'Brien At Work might amuse or horrify you.

Hugh Eckert

I don't like regular raisins but I'm at least OK with any other kind of dried fruit...

Jeffrey Nonken

I eat my oatmeal with raisins. Sometimes if I'm feeling snackish I'll just eat a handful. We don't normally keep cinnamon raisin bread around, but we happen to be working through a loaf right now...

AJ Saint

I eat raisins almost every day

Ben Russell-Gough

Emily, what did I tell you about hacking users accounts on Patreon and posting in their names?

Raisins are tiny disembodied plant brains. If you chew them sufficiently you absorb ancient plant wisdom, but ancient plant wisdom requires chloroplasts to actually apply, and you haven't any. If you swallow any without chewing, they migrate to your own brain, zombifying you and making you a slave of the plants. Eventually your own brain crumbles into brownish flakes, which are then packaged and sold by other zombified plant servants as raisin brain cereal. Frank Baum tried to warn the world by having the Wizard give the scarecrow a brain of bran, but too few could read between the lines. Take heed.

ooooh. What would Roko do with pumpernickel? (I love pumpernickel. One of my regrets in eating low carb is no pumpernickel.)

Sarah Manx

I especially love the art on this one.

Carl Fink

Brun, try a good raisin pumpernickel. The sweetness of the raisins is a nice complement to the sourness of real black bread.

Andrew Tate

Ah, the grapes of wrath.

Ben Russell-Gough

I just suddenly realised that Brun really isn't happy that she doesn't like raisins. All her life, she's been waiting to find her way to the gold at the end of the rainbow. She finally makes it and realises that it wasn't anywhere near as good as she was hoping! Of course, likely NOTHING could have been as good as she was hoping!

MiaKitty

I'm starting to root for a poly triad, here.

Fay Roberts

Sultanas - yum. Raisins - bleh. Dried cherries - gtf away from me with that shit right now.

BobC

Raisins are the only reason I'll eat oatmeal cookies.

Raisins in cookies are the reason I have trust issues.

BobC

Raisins are prunes with an inferiority complex.

BobC

Or a Rosary?

Jonathan Smith

I don't like raisins either.

TMN

*eats cinnamon raisin bread while reading this strip*

Today's lesson for Elliott: Not everything is his fault!

Unanimous D

*eats raisins menacingly*

Quick, someone photoshop some literal pearls into that last panel for Elliot to be clutching.

Bagge

Elliot is feeling left out again

mooviies

Interesting. I'm the other way around. I don't like them out of the box but I like them in food.

Marc Pengryffyn

Raisins are grapes that have acquired the depth and intensity that only age and wisdom provide...

Captain Button

Raisins are just grapes that couldn't make the first team or the second team.

JD

oh my goodness, someone please put Elliot out of his misery and give him a hug and tell him everything's okay and nothing is his fault <3

lilibat

Alton Brown says "raisins are always optional"

Poor Eliot. Ok. Something NICE needs to happen to him soon. Or we will find him in the position of Miles O'brien in DS 9. (If something bad is about to happen, it will happen to him.)

Buck Caldwell

I like raisins, but not in food. Just straight out of the box. Putting them in food weirds the food.

Benzy

Raisins are great. Especially with eggs, sugar, oatmeal, flour, butter, salt and baking soda.

Andrew

They need a gloom alarm, that plays a happy upbeat song!

Chris Olstrom

What is this "American Cheese" you speak of?

R. Francis Smith

Raisins are neat and I don't understand why the Internet is often mean to them :-(

Adam Friedlander

If you do like raisins, try a cinnamon raisin bagel with American cheese. Trust me. (Deli cheese, not the extruded stuff.)

Jackson Bockus

Raisins did nothing wrong
