Side observation: I know Jeph likes to tease his audience (I'm not going to use "troll", because that was never a nice term and at this point it means anything from "telling a joke once" to "actively organising for an extremist group"), but good goddamn, some comments here seem to imply he actually hates us and will stop at nothing to hurt us? I mean, even if he hasn't said repeatedly that he generally likes his fans, and even if the story so far hadn't been characteristically positive and respectful toward the demographics it portrays, having a sudden horrible thing happen to the new lovebirds wouldn't be terribly good storytelling!

Basically everything happens in panel 3 with Faye knuckling a tear and looking briefly like a little girl angry at being abandoned. Bubbles would hesitate forever for her own sake, but nothing would keep her from going to Faye's aid.

Been having a rough past couple of days. This arc has definitely been one of a few bright points throughout them. Thanks as always for the great story-telling, Jeph!
