I think that it's a sign of just how powerful a mind Emily has that she can commit a chunk of her intellect to imponderables whilst still being able to do her job. Given that Coffee of Doom has already been home to a time machine, it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that Emily may get her answers one day! FWIW, I seem to recall them finding a female T-Rex skeleton with cosmetic fractures to the vertebrae around the pelvis that indicate that male T-Rexes were probably very enthusiastic about it! Meanwhile, meet Emily's nice-but-weird kid cousin, Dina!
