$6 million may have indeed inflated to $31 million, but the technology has improved dramatically, while the cost of the technology has dropped exponentially. For example, a personal computer that was barely a glorified calculator (and was the size of a Buick) was well over $10,000 in the early '70s. Now you can get a handheld device with hundreds of times the computing potential for only a few hundred dollars. She could probably get a military-grade chassis (without the classified military-issue extras) for under $100,000. However, the worst part here - that no amount of money could remedy, if her chassis is beyond repair - is that she has had the same chassis since she was "born". No replacement chassis will provide her with the same level of body integration.

Well, assuming her head's intact or at least the main processor/memory, Roko's gonna be getting a new body for Christmas! And, Crushbot's insurance is going to be paying bank for the new body...at least $31,000,000. (How much the Six Million Dollar Man would cost today with inflation...)

I'm sure Roko will survive this, but she's sustained a lot of damage and I'm not sure what insurance policy she has. When she was with the police they'd fix this, but she might be stuck with the same bargain basement chassis May has.

On the one hand, as long as the processor which holds her mind is not crushed, they can build her a new body. However, Roko has such a psychological connection to her body, its loss and replacement may break her in unforeseen ways. Expect a major personality shift: anything from more apathetic than May to sweeter than Momo to more twisted than Pintsize. Possibly a change in gender identity, depending on what Faybles can throw together as a loaner.
