To everyone concerned about the door: note that Roko is not standing in the same place in the last panel. She may well have opened the door herself in between panels 3 and 4, and then turned her back. I'm guessing because she didn't want to have to open the door and see Spookybot's smiling face. EDIT: The strip was subsequently changed. Never mind.

I love Spookybot. They're snarky, and dangerous, and apparently working for the good guys in general - but aren't nice. I'd bet that, if the Singularity happens, there's going to be a lot of that sort running around. (...and since SB is a multi-body person, they probably know a LOT about assimilating to new bodies...)

I just realized: getting a new body would suddenly remove all the little tracking details her former employer would have on file for her. I am suddenly pretty sure who put that crate of bananas in Crushbot's path. An AI with Roko's skillset and a forensic "clean slate" would make an ideal operative.
