I usually see things like this as the pet saying: "Pay attention to me. Now." However, Ollie's young enough that I suspect he hasn't quite got the hang of 'stop before you hit something/someone' whilst running.

That was actually one of the points of stress the first month in my marriage. We didn't agree on where dirty dishes went. 25 years later, we still disagree on whether dishes go on the counter or directly in the dishwasher. I want them on the counter so it's easier to load the dishwasher, instead of having people randomly pile them in the dishwasher and having to take half of them back out to rearrange it. Plus, there's the "is the dishwasher clean or dirty?" dance before you can put something in it.

Stuff is forbidden in my sink, the either go on the counter or in the dishwasher. Why? Because if i want a plate and everything is dirty, i can wash it in the sink! :D
