How about the side story of how she arranged for the cloning? I mean, Claire and Clinton look exactly like their mom, aside from Claire's freckles. Waiiiiit ... Claire, Clinton, cloning. All those "cl-" word starts can't be a coincidence, can they? Is mom "Clara" or "Claudia"?

Actually, we know everyone has cell phones, they just don't bother to use them unless it's either a) an emergency or b) they're texting to either offer advice or inquire as to the state of a date. The town seems to be small enough that most places can be walked to in a fairly short period, so calling isn't really necessary.

And yes, I did work doing Stack Maintenance (shelving books) at a library for about 5 years while I was in college, as I was slowly going through an undergraduate program for Computer Science. Working in the library wasn't horrible, at least I had good people I enjoyed working with, and there were always interesting problems to solve -- like trying to figure out how to help move a branch library.

I hope Marten doesn't get judgemental when he finds out that after all their talk of exam stress she ended up smoking up/out with her mom when she said she'd be studying, He's usually pretty chill but once in a while he can be surprisingly boneheaded about this sort of thing because he's a little bit emotionally immature in some areas.
