Well, people pay extra to prove they got a Gucchi purse or whatevs, right? I think the TRULY rich or stylish don't wear logos - they have their casual jeans or blouses hand-assembled thread by thread by indentured art students and their fancy clothes cast out of cloth-of-gold by Wagnerian dwarves. But the noveau riche and the "merely very wealthy" seem driven to prove they can pay ridiculous prices for everyday items. Maybe it's like that - you get the logo to prove you could afford the good stuff. And since a lot of people want that, even if YOU don't care about it, if you want the well-made item, it comes with the logo...

What makes this drawing so nice is that it's really just a great pretty-girl drawing. It's like a selfie from a friend who actually trusts you when you ask for a personal photo.
